And now the budget claim has been debunked by the man himself. These should probably be taken with a grain of salt, as Forbes has been unreliable in the past.
Yeah, pretty much.So I guess the list of potential profiles that could still plausibly be created/finished at this point would currently look like:
- Task Force M
- Rick Flag Sr.
- The Bride (not sure if tearing off an arm is supposed to be Class 5 or Class 25, but she can tear off two at the same time)
- Doctor Phosphorus
- Nina Mazursky
- G.I. Robot
- Weasel
- Eric Frankenstein
- Circe
- Clayface (could wait until the movie is released)
- Raptors/PlanetWatch
- Jellyfish (due to artbook confirming scaling to Justice Gang)
- Blue Dragon
- Captain Triumph
Yeah, but they can also be harm by regular bullets. I guess one could argue it's durability negation or something like that. The lasers appear to be very strong at some times (They threaten The Bride and annihilate other Amethyst Knights) but weak at others (A SofT goon survived a direct shot to the chest). Maybe depends on the size of the blast, the majority of shots are thin, bullet-like even. Others have a far bigger diameter, like the ones that the Bride shoots the Amethyst Knights with (Literally next scene is shooting the helicopter's pilot with the bullet-like lasers). If the Amethyst Knights were to get a profile, they'd probably fall roughly into the 9-A scaling chain, considering the armor of one was able to withstand a tackle and several strikes from the Bride before going down, and they can get oneshot by their own weapons.
A 9-A being affected by bullets is nothing new?Yeah, but they can also be harm by regular bullets. I guess one could argue it's durability negation or something like that. I don't recall him being damaged by the 19th century pistol but I mean yeah Frankenstein is definitely more bullet resistant than her for sure but you could just chalk up him getting damaged by her gun as specifically a feat for her gun rather than something on Frankenstein's part himselfSpeaking of that, what's your opinnion on Frankenstein's bulletproof skin? The Bride shields herself from bullets at multiple points and its implied that can die with a shot to the head. Then Frankenstein is affected by 19th century pistols or the Bride's guns but has a kinda plot important statement about being bulletproof.
Yeah, I thought about the Bride's guns being enhanced or something like that. But rewatching the second episode, she takes two pistols from some random guy around 1888 and shoots him with them. He knocks back, his skin pierced and bleeding. I think it has to do with how close Gunn worked with the animation team. He once told how the scenes with Batman were longer as if the animation team had taken the liberty to make said scenes by themselves. Maybe the flashbacks from episode 2 weren't too specific in the script.I don't recall him being damaged by the 19th century pistol but I mean yeah Frankenstein is definitely more bullet resistant than her for sure but you could just chalk up him getting damaged by her gun as specifically a feat for her gun rather than something on Frankenstein's part himself
hmm that's pretty weird then, maybe its like the caliber of the guns or somethingYeah, I thought about the Bride's guns being enhanced or something like that. Unless its much bigger than what we see there thats like 9-B topsIs that cloud dispersion is worthy of calculating it or is to little size to high altitude?
I don’t recall this ever being a thing?I assume the previous assumption that she may have physically flown to another solar system is debunked?
Maybe, maybe not. In the comics she flown by herself to the last planet with a yellow sun to take a ride from there to a planet with a red sun. We see in the trailer she is leaving a planet, which would be weird if she is using a spaceship to travel. If you ask me, we do not have enough information to confirm it or deny it yet.I haven't been here for awhile but now that the Supergirl trailer is out, I assume the previous assumption that she may have physically flown to another solar system is debunked?
Well it was certainly being argued.I don’t recall this ever being a thing?
I mean she ain't exactly flying with her powers under a red sun as far as we know so that would necessitate her using a shipThere's a line about her having gone to a planet with a red sun in order to get drunk, the nearest red sun is about four light years away, so that would grant pretty casual FTL speeds.
I don't think her traveling by ship necessarily debunks the light speed arguments, we'll have to see.
