And even that is pushing it likely since metamorpho himself doesn't scale to his own creation so Superman being stated the strongest wouldn't really encompass it I mean unless we push it to a possibly maybe
I'd say this for most versions of him hence why I said too that most Superman never even reach tier 5 or above and are still able to tell these stories, being cool and engaging while still being only like tier 7 ~ tier 6, Sun dipping though I could see definitely opening more avenues to higher scaling

Personally I'd say there's no reason to stress over things right now since we're literally only 1 movie into this new universe and have a solid foundation. Ultimately we should definitely have a more consistent sense of scale for where they want the cast to be featwise once we do get Lanterns, Supergirl, and the Blue Beetle animated series (two of which we get next year) as those are our more cosmic goons and for more obvious reasons have the best chance at big feats

im not too worried myself despite gunns claim of wanting a less OP superman he clearly set up a universe thats not grounded in a way that even the MCU initially was, your bound to get multiple scaling avenues down the line, especially for someone that has good statements like being the strongest meta human of all.

Low-key, I’m more curious to see where he scales physically.
Because we’ve already got the “regular human” Mister Terrific physically clapping up Lex’s Raptors and not, y’know, dying after being slammed by the Engineer, and we’ve already seen how strong Clayface and Doctor Phosphorus are, so Batman’s gotta be insanely strong.

I'm not sure if DCU Batman will end up surpassing 9-B physically, considering how remarkably consistent that tier has been for peak humans and low level metahumans in the DCU thus far, though he'd probably still be one of the strongest 9-B DCU characters in such a case.

I doubt that Darkseid and Apokolips is gonna end up being what Chapter 1 has been setting up this whole time with all this portal/universe stuff, especially since it’d be extremely similar on paper to what Snyder was doing. It’s probably more likely that it’s setting up the Morrison Earth 2 storyline that’ll cause the Justice League to form. If Mister Miracle is canon to the DCU though the New Gods might be a recurring part of the universe going forward.

Isn't there a whole series being made for new gods ? I doubt it can go without even a mention between the war against Apokolips. And snyder never actually got to work with DC's biggest bad, he was just there out of the universe.

My absolute pie in the sky theory is that it’s something involving Batman. Between the statements from him and Sol Rodríguez about Sasha Bordeaux and her potential history (or future) with Batman, and Gunn teasing big cameos in the last three episodes, I feel like there’s a chance.

Bloodsport is definitely coming back at some point, it’s just a matter of when. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if he showed up in Peacemaker S2.
I would also like to see Margot’s Harley again, especially if they pair her with Poison Ivy.
I really hope Batman appears in this movie, even if he’s just cloaked in shadow and we don’t see his face, I want to see the Bat from the perspective of one of his rogues.

Juggling Batman will probably be really hard. We have a Superman in this universe who’s in year 3, but Batman will have Damian (and therefore Dick and probably Jason before him, skipping Tim to make the timeline even shorter), which means that Dick as Nightwing (now in his 20s) didn’t have the Teen Titans when he was a teen?
The DCEU had an older Batman and a younger Superman as well, but just had Batman have one Robin (Dick) who was dead. I don’t know how to feel about trying to keep the dynamic of the Batfamily (which I want) while also trying to keep the timeline consistent, but this also goes out the window if they decide to merge Pattinson.

I don’t want him to be skipped, I was saying that if you skip him you still have a huge problem with 3 Robins instead of 4. And I don’t think they’d have Damian and Tim together as two concurrent Robins, either, unfortunately.
(Also Bruce having Damian while Clark is in his third year also means we won’t get supersons, since there won’t be a Jon, which sucks).

I mean, they could easily have Damian as the main Robin and Tim as the Robin on the Teen Titans, and that’d work fine imo
Also, I feel like it’s not all that difficult to fit four (or even all five, but I’m not holding out hope for Steph’s tenure as Robin being acknowledged) Robins into Batman’s timeline, depending on how long he’s been around. Like if we say Batman’s been active for something like fifteen years…
Year 1: Bruce becomes Batman at the age of 24.
Year 3-7: Dick operates as Robin from ages 14-18, founding the Teen Titans during this time, and ultimately leaving to become Nightwing.
Year 8-9: Jason’s tenure as Robin, ending with his murder at the hands of the Joker.
Year 10-14: Tim’s tenure as Robin.
Year 15: Damian makes his debut while Bruce is 39.
And you could condense the timeline down even more just by shortening how long each one served. No need to cut any of the Robins

It’s not a matter of principle in terms of it being unworkable with regard to Batman’s age, or how long he’s been Batman, or whatever, the juggling issue is how it fits into the general timeline. If Dick was already on the Teen Titans does that mean that e.g. Kid Flash or Aqualad were around before Superman?
Personally I don’t think Tim replacing Dick on the Titans would be popular at all, which is why I don’t see them doing something like that. I think the main issue would be how to deal with a newly forming Justice League while having an already developed Bat Mythos on the sidelines.

That's considering that most of justice league is inactive. We don't know if Flash has even become the flash yet. Same for Cyborg. I mean there is no way Flash is around and not in the justice gang but Kara who is barely on the planet hangs out with them as we saw in Peacemaker.

There’s also a 60 year old Hal Jordan, and we know that Jay Garrick is around as he was on the mural in Superman. I don’t think there are any plans for the Flash yet given that the DCEU movie wasn’t that far back, and there needs to be distance between the adaptations.
The issue is trying to do this all on the fly though, since Batman (the biggest DC character) is still in limbo with two possible adaptations. That’s the main issue currently.

Pretty sure that line was a leftover from when Creature Commando's was meant to be set in the DCEU since it makes a lot more sense with that timeline. Really surprised that Gunn didn't change it to give a more vague timeframe though, he's kinda backed himself into a corner now with how long DCU Batman's been around.

there was no line that said he was around for 15 years or anything, people just mostly assumed he was around for 15 years due to the Dr. Phosphorus flashback and him saying the line about not being touched for 15 years but Gunn said that flashback sequence wasn't all 15 years ago as time had passed so you can't assume batman was around for that long

Fair enough, but like I said, you could easily condense that timeline to like 12 or even 10 years if you just shorten how long each Robin was active.
Probably not Aqualad, considering that Gunn isn’t sure if Aquaman is even active by the time of Superman, but I think there’s a real possibility for Wally to predate Superman, especially if he ends up being the main Flash of the DCU.
The idea isn’t that Tim would replace Dick on the Titans, he would just be the Robin of the current iteration of the Titans, with Dick being part of the original iteration, who have aged out of being Teen Titans.

I brought up Aqualad because of that, but I don’t think it would be that much of a problem to retcon Aquaman being active before Superman even if he makes his appearance after, it would just take some shuffling; Wally then being active as a teenager and having Barry be around ~60 (around Hal’s age) would be the way I would play it, but this just shows you need to be careful about it.
I am aware of that, but I think most people would want to see the Titans including the normal cast with Dick, Wally, etc., unless we accept them as 30 year olds who are all individually as old as Superman and more experienced than him. Either that or you would have to have a prequel thing going on, but I think that’s tempting things too much (16 year old Dick on the Titans while he’s 27 as Nightwing in the modern day, or whatever).
I wasn’t aware of that, but I’m glad that’s the case then.
