Darth Plagueis up

Based on a comparison with Darth Bane, Plagueis should be 4-B. Bane's plan produced more powerful Sith Lords with each generation. Darth Bane was first but Plagueis was thirtieth. The gap between them is very huge.

In fact, Plagueis was nearly equal with his apprentice, Darth Sidious (TPM incarnation).

In addition, peak Plagueis is stronger than his younger self, which changed the climate of Naboo.

He also has galactic range of telepathy:

"And so he had stretched out—indeed, as if invisible, transubstantiated—to inform every being of his existence, and impact all of them: Muunoid or insectoid, secure or dispossessed, free or enslaved. A warrior waving a banner in triumph on a battlefield. A ghost infiltrating a dream. But ultimately to no end. The Force grew silent, as if in flight from him, and many of the animals in his laboratory succumbed to horrifying diseases."

Also. Sidious and Plagueis conduct a meditative ritual during which they wage etheric war with the Force and challenge its sovereignty, ultimately prevailing and shifting the balance to the Force toward the dark side.

"The question of whether he and Sidious had discovered something new or rediscovered something ancient was beside the point. All that mattered was that, almost a decade earlier, they had succeeded in willing the Force to shift and tip irrevocably to the dark side. Not a mere paradigm shift, but a tangible alteration that could be felt by anyone strong in the Force, and whether or not trained in the Sith or Jedi arts.

The shift had been the outcome of months of intense meditation, during which Plagueis and Sidious had sought to challenge the Force for sovereignty and suffuse the galaxy with the power of the dark side. Brazen and shameless, and at their own mortal peril, they had waged etheric war, anticipating that their own midi-chlorians, the Force's proxy army, might marshal to boil their blood or stop the beating of their hearts. Risen out of themselves, discorporate and as a single entity, they had brought the power of their will to bear, asserting their sovereignty over the Force. No counterforce had risen against them. In what amounted to a state of rapture they knew that the Force had yielded, as if some deity had been tipped from its throne. On the fulcrum they had fashioned, the light side had dipped and the dark side had ascended."

Plagueis and his apprentice broke the Force itself, spreading darkness throughout the galaxy. Since they are approximately equal, Plagueis did at least 50% of the work.

And this is despite the Jedi Order and a Force bubble that had prevented infiltration by the dark side.

Not a single Sith before Plagueis has ever demonstrated a similar level of power.

After murdering his Master, Sidious gains a massive boost in power. He consumed Plagueis' power and became twice as strong (since Palpatine and Plagueis were nearly equal).

Palpatine is a Solar System tier character. If we scale from him, we got from High 4-C to 4-B Darth Plagueis.

We can also scale him from Vitiate. Darth Bane > Vitiate.

DarthBane

A single generalized statement is iffy at best, specially when Darth Bane was written quite a bit before Vitiate. The other evidence is far more convincing.

Plagieus being 30 apprentices after Bane doesnt make him 4-B, just a higher level of 5-B

And yeah Bane is definitely not stronger than Vitiate

Given that Plagueis' Force is about half of 4-B Sidious' Force, then we got High 4-C/4-B Hego.

sorry to revive this, but corrections need to be made- the power that is stolen by the apprentice from the master is not the mater's power itself. the power that the master's have is bane's power. thats what is passed down. i didnt know about this until recently, but yes, it is the case. so the amp sisdious got from his master was the power he got from tenebrous, which was bane's power, meaning that the amp wasnt that big. plus, plagueis has statements making him equal or close to vitiate at his strongest, i belive. that would make TPM sidious, before the amp, already 4B, since he was one amp away from 4B. since plagueis was stronger than he was, than plagueis is also 4B, by logic. tenebrous as well (plageuis is what i consider to be, almost insignificnalty stronger than his master was in his own prime). the same should apply to dooku (he has matched yoda in strength before, and going by the attack of the clones novel, he semi matched a serious but no full power yoda, while not being in his prime just, and without using a rage amp whatsoever, alongside with fighting darkside anakin, who was literally the 3rd strongest person alive by the time of rots, after yoda and sidious, of course), and henceforth, anakin (his base was already stronger than both mace windu and dooku, and was considered to be physically stronger than even yoda. mace windu admitted inferiority to anakin as well, while dooku didnt stand a chance agaisnt him when he used the darkside. that same darkside anakin, while hiolding back, could easily fight obi wan with a permanent amp, who even before the amp, could also fight dooku well enough) and darth vader (semi self explanatory considering what i already said)

Darth Plagueis DEFINETELY should be 4b

"A standard month after the events on Coruscant, Plagueis summoned Sidious to Muunilinst. Sidious had visited the High Port skyhook but had never been invited downside, and now he found himself soaring over one of the planet's unspoiled blue oceans in a stylish airspeeder piloted by two Sun Guards. As the speeder approached Aborah, he settled deeply into the Force and was rewarded with a vision of the mountain island as a transcendent vortex of dark energy unlike anything he had ever experienced. It was something he would have expected to encounter only on Korriban or some other Sith world."

Then, As explained by palpatine

"Seen through the Force, he was a nuclear oval of mottled light, a rotating orb of terrifying energy. If the Maladian attack had weakened him physically, it had also helped to shape his etheric body into a vessel sufficiently strong to contain the full power of the dark side."

Which implies YES plagueis can use these overpowered nexus's of energy he can create

This implies he can harness the combined power more powerful than korriban which is influenced by multiple dead sith lords energies... Specifically the energies of Lord Khreusis, Ajunta Pall, Darth Krayt, Ludo Kressh, Marka Ragnos, Naga Sadown, Tulak Hord, Darth Bane, and XoXaan, all combined.....

Also consider this plaguies ISN'T planetary when trying... In the book he essentially was destroying the planet JUST BY BEING ON IT not even trying (and also melts shit near him like snow)

AND it is referred as a planetary force nexus, sooo NO this ain't no ordinary planet and can't just be lowballed to planet surface level, do to the preasence of this nexus which was effected by his preasence

"Later it would be said by Naboo and Gungan alike that they couldn't recall a colder winter than the one that followed Hego Damask's autumnal visit to their world. The rivers and even the falls below Theed froze; the rolling plains and tall forests were blanketed three meters deep with snow; plasmic quakes rocked the Gallo Mountains and the Lake Country, the Holy Places and the undersea city of Otoh Gunga; and many of the egresses of the underwaterways that hollowed the planet were blocked by ice floes."

"On my first visit to your homeworld I recognized it as a nexus in the Force. And I remember thinking how appropriate it was that the dark side should be hiding on such a beautiful planet."

"The obedient orphan stood shivering in swirling snow. Around him rose ice pinnacles shaped like jagged teeth; a glacial wind howled through them. Plagueis stood nearby, flakes of snow and ice gyrating around him but never lighting on him, melting before they reached him."

Heck the literal force RAN AWAY FROM HIM do to his power LMFAO... There never has been someone powerful enough to do that in the past, YES there was people who were RIPS in the force, but the litteral force didn't fear anyone (including beings like darth nihilus) till plagueis came into being

it says

"And so he had stretched out—indeed, as if invisible, transubstantiated—to inform every being of his existence, and impact all of them: Muunoid or insectoid, secure or dispossessed, free or enslaved. A warrior waving a banner in triumph on a battlefield. A ghost infiltrating a dream.

But ultimately to no end. The Force grew silent, as if in flight from him, and many of the animals in his laboratory succumbed to horrifying diseases."

Heck considering darth plaguies is stemmed off from the darth bane lineage who well knows about past sith lords https://comicvine1.cbsistatic.com/u...36-022 013 humans & aliens - 1000bby bne3.jpg and did collect sith holocrons

heck considering in obi wans first battle against darth maul consume essence was used against obi wan, AND considering palpatine also has always known force drain implies YES it is VERY VERY likely plaguies has knowledge of previous sith lords especially darth nihilus (also most of palpatines dark side holocrons came from his master so at this point it is common logic that plaguies likely knew of previous sith lords)

Plagueis himself also claims that with enough effort he can gain ANY force ability, and even claims he is more powerful then any other previous sith that has been shown in holocrons including the likes of nihilus and etc.... "But Plagueis now understood that Tenebrous had been wrong about sorcery, as he had been wrong about so many things. Yes, the gift was strongest in those who, with scant effort, could allow themselves to be subsumed by the currents of the Force and become conduits for the powers of the dark side. But there was an alternative path to those abilities, and it led from a place where the circle closed on itself and sheer will substituted for selflessness. Plagueis understood, too, that there were no powers beyond his reach; none he couldn't master through an effort of will. If a Sith of equal power had preceded him, then that one had taken his or her secrets to the grave, or had locked them away in holocrons that had been destroyed or had yet to surface."

Heck considering darth plagueis was drugged, and sleeping, when mostly killed by palpatine (via destroying his breathing device early) and let his death happen willingly to experiment on himself

"Crackling from his fingertips, a web of blue lightning ground itself on the Muun's breathing device. Plagueis's eyes snapped open, the Force gathering in him like a storm, but he stopped short of defending himself. This being who had survived assassinations and killed countless opponents merely gazed at Sidious, until it struck him that Plagueis was challenging him! Confident that he couldn't be killed, and in denial that he was slowly suffocating, he might have been simply experimenting with himself, actually courting death to put it in its place. Momentarily taken aback, Sidious stood absolutely still. Was Plagueis so self-deluded as to believe that he had achieved immortality? The question lingered for only a moment, then Sidious unleashed another tangle of lightning, drawing more deeply on the dark side than he ever had."

Tells us that NO palpatine didn't properly kill his master for rule of 2

And if you like "well plagueis didn't either" well.... The problem here is that plaguies himself knew most of tenobrous's teaching and even knew MORE THEN TENEBROUS according to text since he was allowed to witness the maxi chlorians in action and understand them unlike his master who tried that his WHOLE life and also admitted to plaguises power after death

"Looking at the Bith through the Force, he perceived that the midi-chlorians were already beginning to die out, as were the neurons that made up Tenebrous's lofty brain and the muscle cells that powered his once-able heart."

"The dispersal of midi-chlorians at the moment of physical death was, for lack of a better term, inexorable. Analogous to his fated confrontation with the Woebegone crew, the moment of death appeared to be somehow fixed in space and time. According to his Sith education, since Captain Lah and the others had been in some sense dead from the moment Plagueis's gaze had alighted on the freighter, it followed that the midi-chlorians that resided in alleged symbiosis with them must have been preparing to be subsumed into the reservoir of life energy that was the Force long before Plagueis had stowed away. His attempts to save them—to prolong that state of symbiosis—were comparable to using a sponge to dam a raging river."

NOW I definetely ain't saying plagueis was more powerful then his master before death and at death in fact it says tenobrous is more powerful right at the moment tenobrous died as said here

"This was Plagueis' customary technique: a close examination, through the Force, of the midi-chlorian decay that accompanied the physical death of his victims. Tenebrous was by far the most powerful Force-user whose death Plagueis had the opportunity to observe, and he had known all along that his apprentice would apply all his physical, mental, and Force capabilities-pitiful as they might be- to witness each slightest detail."

BUT considering tenobrous didn't realize how powerful darth plaguies was

"Driven by the dark side-powered will of the Sith Master, the retrovirus propagated with incredible speed. As it carried his consciousness throughout his apprentice's body, Tenebrous found himself becoming pleasurably aware the he was gaining access to Plagueis' sensorium. He could literally feel what Plagueis felt, both the coldly clinical satisfaction at having successfully engineered Tenebrous' murder.... and the Force-perception that let Plagueis monitor the last vanishing remnants of Tenebrous' uninfected midi-chlorians.

Full access to his apprentice's Force-perceptions! Delightful. Better than Tenebrous had allowed himself to hope."

And considering plaguies learned more then his master even knew after words technically implies not much longer after plagueis WOULD be more powerful via gaining VERY VERY useful knowledge, sooo he still walked out in his masters death following rule of 2 motto for "apperentice becoming more powerful after masters death" and "more powerful then master to ensure sith power and survival" type mentality, even though it was more just by sheer luck of being able to see midichlorions and maxi chlorians in the first place rather then the formal, and power boost as gain in knowledge instead since his master shot himself out of plagueis after death (sooo coinsidentally even though he depised the rule of 2 he just followed the main base idea of it LOLOLOLOL)....

Soooo, Pls don't take that wrong LMFAO... I hate it when people bend my words agains me so i just decided to potential complainers with the facts.

Now one more thing i should also mention is palpatine is still unsure of wether he surpassed plaguies's still

When he was in training he said

"Palpatine hadn't been attempting to flatter Plagueis when he had called him wise-not entirely, at any rate. The Muun was powerful beyond Palpatine's present understanding."

and even after plagueis's death it says

"Sidious knew that his own powers had increased tenfold over the decades, but he couldn't be certain he had learned all of Plagueis's secrets—"his sorcerer's ways," as the Sun Guards referred to them—including the ability to prevent beings from dying. He sometimes wondered: Was he a level behind? Two levels behind? Such questions were precisely what had driven generations of Sith apprentices ultimately to challenge their Masters. The uncertainty about who was the more powerful."

Soooo, Considering palpatine couldn't comrehend his masters power and still can't implies we know for sure palpatine is an unreliable source

and before anyone mentions gearge lucas stating palpatine is the most powerful sith of all time keep this in mind.... Darth plagueis was created after the star wars series was created, and considering plagueis isn't lucas's creation, it makes sense... It is a classic "my guy is more powerful then yours" situation especially considering now that gearge lucas's statements isn't canon anymore since his whole franchise and ideas were bought out by disney....

Sooo, Considering all the MOST POWERFUL SITH LORD statements by gearge lucas, and now do to his creations non canonality implies this statement https://comicvine1.cbsistatic.com/uploads/original/11117/111179633/5752393-6495534056-A05Ab.jpg and gearge lucas's technically implies this scenario of "my guy is more powerful then yours", sooooo that technically is also not a viable source ANYMORE at least....

Back then YEAAAH it was true due to him being essentially the canonality of the series, but considering that isn't the case anymore + the logic of the situation + the unreliability of said said statements from palpatines mouth makes it, so that.... Technically, if your actually being logical you wouldn't say non of them is more powerful then the other and only rely on feats rather then unsupported and unreliable statements (if you find a disney director or lead writer saying sooo then hmu and let me know, but for now it is 100% unknown, AAAND gaining a force boost after a sith kills his master isn't comfirmed 100% access to masters power only some, if palpatine really did gain his masters power he would be able to manipulate midi chlorians which clearly isn't the case sooo we can't pretend this is a 100% power gain when in many many wasy IT IS NOT)....

NOW Let's get back to feats now shall we

Darth plaguies is the only sith master that completely was able to disrupt others perception of the future

sooo he isn't just masking his energy and location he is masking time perception in general

"Yoda and the rest of the Council members will double their meditation sessions in an effort to peer into the future, only to discover it clouded and unknowable. Only to discover that complacency has opened the door to catastrophe."

AND THIS WAS IN A PROTECTIVE FORCE BUBBLE where is says about the bubble

"Where an extremely low midi-chlorian count might have bolstered the odds of survival, nature had instead made the ysalimir species strong in the Force. So strong, in fact, that several of the creatures acting in concert could create a Force bubble encompassing kilometers rather than meters. In a sense, the Jedi Order had done the same on a galactic scale, Plagueis believed, by bathing the galaxy in the energy of the light side of the Force; or more accurately by fashioning a Force bubble that had prevented infiltration by the dark side"

Which implies plagueis was soooooo powerful not even the future is determined even

aaaand in the journal of the whills it indicates a universe where the future is pretty much already determined

As it says in aftermath empires end in the journal of the wills

"The truth in our soul, is that nothing is true. The question of life is what then do we do? The burden is ours to penance we hew. The force binds us all from a certain point of view."

heck george lucas says "Originally, I was trying to have the story be told by somebody else (an immortal being known as a Whill); there was somebody watching this whole story and recording it, somebody probably wiser than the mortal players in the actual events. I eventually dropped this idea, and the concepts behind the Whills turned into the Force. But the Whills became part of this massive amount of notes, quotes, background information that I used for the scripts; the stories were actually taken from the Journal of the Whills."

soooo technically whills really just, spectate, and enforce the deterministic future via through the force

Which means YES this is cannon and DARTH PLAGUIS essentially obscured if not momentarily destroyed this deterministic nature of the universe

Which means YES, i guess we can speculate he used maxi chlorions since after all as i indicated earlier he almost had more knowledge over them then his master.... But, That is only speculation.... NOW I ain't gonna consider it absolute fact he used it through sheer power still though it is high likelyhood through the fact that even the force was running from him, so this level of a feat is kind of not suprising

Those 2 feats is a likely indication Darth Plagueis overpowered the force to such extreme extents (to destroying determinism)....

That he possibly to be and likely to be a Whills level being, and the whills is pretty much the force gods. Sooooooo.... I don't where only flippen planetary is derived from feats like this smh (also note he could forcibly RIP the midi chlorians out of any being according to text, soooo yeeeeah)....

These feats 100% comfirm that darth plaguies is NOT just tier 5b

He is at least 4c, and at most 4a, but considering the power behind his feats i would solidly make him 4b.... Soooo, Bassicaly what i'm saying is this power level is NEEDED to be changed BADLY from 5b, to a more realistic 4c - 4b
