After returning to the casino with all the soul contracts, Cuphead and Mugman were given a new offer. According to King Dice, another debtor, named "Lilith", appeared. She was the most important of all the runaways, because her deal was the creation of life itself! The Devil sensed her on Inkwell Isle, and promised everybody else's freedom if the boys could secure her contract. Excited at the offer and knowing how proud Elder Kettle would be, Cuphead told Mugman to stay behind while he dealt with it himself.
Apparently, the creature seen swimming through the oceans was NOT an Angel. It was some sort of giant, flirtatious mermaid. Boy, did she make Shinji feel awkward. As he finished telling Misato to come get him, he felt a small shock in his leg. Some kind of... airplane with a cup piloting it was shooting at him. It yelled something like "Hand over the contract, Lilith!" But who's Lilith?
