Crowley VS Harry Dresden

You're planning to banish the King of Hell back to Hell? Very good.

Trap Crowley in a pot? I couldn't find it anywhere on his page. What kind of ability is this?

Also, about freezing: Crowley has got a pretty good pyrokinesis. He'd even incinerated himself once. He could just do so again in order to escape from ice.

Binding demons, if not enthralling them, is chump level magic. If Crowley pops out of the body, Dresden sticks him in a summonin circle and keeps him there as a pet.

An DeathByLazers is correct. It is not encasing the person in ice, it is completely freezing their entire body.

Pretty sure it falls under his Ice Manipulation.

Dresden's page needs a revamp, tbh. His current justifications for his tiers could be better, and he's lacking explanations for how his powers work. Which in my experience is what novel characters (the more versatile ones, anyway) tend to need.

I'm pretty sure he might be missing a couple of spells of his, also. Not positive though.

Dresden's demon sealing has to do with magic circles, which are, without prep, not combat applicable most of the time.

It's literally just drawing a circle and then imbuing it with a bit of magic.

He could do it with magic pretty easily

Guys it won't matter at all. They both one-shot it each other. All Crowley has to do is snap his fingers to win.

So Crowley will just let Dresden draw a circle around him mid fight?

He might if Dresden has shattered his body and reduced him to just a demon flying around with super strength, possession and nothing else.

And if Crowley's takes a finger snap, pretty sure Dresden's takes a thought

Right, a spirit flying around that Dresden probably needs The Sight to find. Are magic circles a thing in Supernatural? If so, then I doubt Crowley will let him finish it.

There are Devil's Traps, which are pretty similar to what Monarch is describing.

Also, if Dresden starts to draw a circle, he would get hit in the face by Crowley in his true form. He also has got invisibility in true form. And intangibility.

And, knowing the fight takes place here, Crowley could just go inside of a house and find someone else to be his vessel. After that, he would just need to blow Dresden up with his Atomic Matter Manipulation.

Why does everyone in supernatural not just get blown up by atomic matter manipulation when they have fights?

Lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of CIS. They do it in character a lot towards fodder enemies so it's in character but lots of CIS

Having watched some of the show before, I can say for certain that plot/character-induced stupidity is pretty common.

Not a knock on the show (not really...), but yeah.

I see.

Well, having thought this over again, if Dresden and Harry both get their one-shots off at the same time, but Crowley can just go possess someone else after his host dies, then that seems much like a win for Crowley

Bet I'll switch to Inconclusive after rereading the thread. Everything seems too balanced, albeit Crowley has got a better hax range.

You will?! Can this finally be added?! The range isn't much of a factor considering they aren't that far away from each other
