What does Cosmic Fear Garou's 4-A with Power Mimicry mean? Does that mean that, for the purposes of VS battles, the strongest he can copy is 4-A and from there he can only get stronger with Reactive Evolution?

Add: If it is agreed that Cosmic Fear Garou doesn't have a limiter, he shouldn't be 4-A with Power Mimicry since this assumes this is his cap with said ability.

4-A with Power Mimicry comes from scaling to serious punch squared where he was in Mode: Saitama. We didn't saw such a feat in base cosmic fear mode .Nonetheless , his durability is 4-A from the fact that he tanks serious punch from saitama in his base cosmic fear mode.

Most people agreed that Cosmic Fear Garou can copy more than that since it is assumed he has no limiter. Doesn't that make things confusing in VS battles? He's 4-A with Power Mimicry but can copy an attack stronger than 4-A with Power Mimicry?

Add: Shouldn't it be higher with Power Mimicry?

He didn't since he had copied Serious Punch before it hit, giving him Saitama's durability or at least his durability then scaled to the Serious Punch.

Basically when he copied Saitama he gained his strength but other than that didn't get anything new for a key.

So the idea was to just say that he can instantly copy 4-A levels of strength without notably effort.

Does that mean that, for the purposes of VS battles, the strongest he can copy is 4-A

Garou notably struggled keeping up with Saitama's strength when he got to 3-C levels and when lining up the power chart the manga gave he was notably lagging behind.

While I can't speak for in-universe lore, for the site to avoid a NLF at a certain point he just can't physically copy someone that's to strong.

this is so wrong, he can copy someone that strong, he did copeid saitama after all, but saitama reactive power level is just better than garou.

So Garou needs to see an attack in order for him to copy the strength behind it. My headcanon is (and probably others' as well) that by the time Garou has copied a punch, Saitama already grew exponentially stronger so when he attacks with said copied strength, it has no effect on Saitama. Basically Saitama's Accelerated Development can go fast enough that Garou's Power Mimicry becomes ineffective.

It could be argued that Garou just has a hard time mimicking attacks slightly higher than the 4-A feat or his Power Mimicry at that point slows down, but if we agree that his powers is still consistent, my headcanon would make sense.

Agreed. The graph did show that he'd far exceeded the Saitama and Garou that performed Serious Punch², but Saitama's Accelerated Development far exceeded Garou's Power Mimicry and Reactive Evolution. Getting a bit into headcanon, but imo it's probably because Saitama had completely removed his limiter, whereas Garou still couldn't fully remove his at the time due to being under the influence of God.
