Can 73 copy angel powers? I am unfamiliar with Dragon Ball. If they can't then using him doesn't really suffice as evidence for being able to copy something of that magnitude
Moro copied Angel Power because he absorbed 73, 73 copied a lot of power and abilities before he was absorbed by Moro
And from what I've gathered so far, it is an issue of durability/endurance, not an issue of his copying. Goku verbatim states that he had to train his body to endure the angel power, and that is the difference that causes Moro to explode. He also states it is an issue of "limits." Implying Moro did, in fact, have a limit/weakness. Moro still copied the ability he just couldn't withstand it
Goku in that power also similar to Moro, his body automatically grow sturdier like Moro, but Moro is not fine when that "feature" kick in, Goku is fine however

Goku literally said after he saying about "limit" thing that Moro will be fine if he abandon Merus' ability

I think people have been focusing too much on the suppose "limit" but no, Moro after getting Merus power (Angel Power) was handling the new power level just fine, until the body automatically grow sturdier kick in so ot isn't power limit problem, and when the ability kick in, Moro didn't power up, Goku can still damage him, if he was powering up Goku wouldn't be able to do so. Then he merged with Earth to circumvent the "suppose limit" but he still gonna explode anyway. Also after merging with Earth he stated tl have all his limit removed

Also Saganbo case was different, he was force fed with power from Moro himself, in Moro case, the power literally act against him

Sorry couldn't upload scan due to being on phone lol

Why would Goku say he's reached his limit, referring to his inability to handle UI as a matter of physical endurance, if this is not an issue of physical statistics?

"hone your body," what does this mean to you? Curious.

Training your body to its physical limits to handle Ultra Instinct adapting to any power without limit (Moro's Ultra Instinct didn't have a stamina drain like Goku's), Meaning copping it will make a user explode unless they trained their bodies to its physical limits

I'm sorry, but I do not understand what you are saying in this post.

What about Yakon ? You know the Guy who gave the SUCC to Buu Saga SSJ Goku
That's a good point. We wouldn't give Goku an Unconventional Resistance to Power Absorption just because Yakon absorbed too much energy from him and blew up.

Question.

Why did Moro's body "[become] tougher" only after being hit? Because earlier in the chapter, when the concept was first established, Goku's body grew sturdier before Moro's attack landed; with Ultra Instinct, the body acts before the brain even processes incoming danger. And why'd it keep growing sturdier?

If possessing Ultra Instinct by itself—and thus, being capable of automatically toughening himself up against incoming attacks—is the cause of Moro's self-destruction, even ignoring how Ultra Instinct does not affect Battle Power, why only after he began needing to regenerate after every single one of Goku's strikes? After he begun taking increased damage from Goku? As though he were losing strength. Why are Moro's Ultra Instinct abilities delayed? Logically speaking, Moro's body should have begun self-destructing after clashing fists with Goku or after blocking a direct strike and then exchanging blows with Goku, because his body should have and would have been toughening itself up before touching Goku.

Seven-Three has a Copy Ability (コピー能力 Kopī Nōryoku).
He steals "abilities" (能力 nōryoku).
He can even "copy the destructive power of techniques" (技の威力までコピー waza no iryoku made kopī).
He can store up to three "copied abilities" (コピーした能力 kopīshita nōryoku).
He can copy Battle Power (戦闘力 Sentō Ryoku; Viz: "combat abilities").
All of which is stored within up to three forehead crystals.

Goku defeated Moro by destroying his forehead crystal and "releasing Merus's power"; or by, more accurately, destroying his forehead crystal and "erasing Merus's power" (メルスさんの力を消し去 Merusu-san no chikara o keshi sa).

Simply possessing Merus's abilities (能力 nōryoku) was acceptable; if had copied an identical set from a different individual, he would have survived. Moro's self-destruction was initiated because he could not withstand Merus's power (メルスさんの力 Merusu-san no chikara), and Goku prevented Moro's self-destruction by sealing Moro's Copy Ability, thus destroying the power Moro stole from Merus and kept stored in his forehead crystal.

Well what about Nierre's suggestion? Would you be fine with adding a note at the bottom of Ultra Instinct users' page that states what happens if you try to copy Ultra Instinct/Angel Power without honing your body to withstand its power and AD affects? That is, if you think an unconventional resistance is not warranted.

Adding a note to the profiles is fine with me.

But what level of training/honed body would be required? We don't know anything at all since it was Moro. I think leaving it vague like that might cause a problem in vs threads like "His body isn't as honed as Goku's, he can't handle UI" or "This guy was training for years all day, he can handle it" or it's fine for any character who has a decent trained body?

Well for starters, Moro was able to Copy the exact Power of Merus, and was even said to be Goku's equal in terms of power. Yet Moro was the one who couldn't handle that adaptation and swelling power and died because of it. Mind you, Moro only lived as long as he did because his body allowed him to actually try and work around the swelling power by adapting to it; otherwise Moro would have died instantly. So if they can't handle AD on the level of Goku's, then they would simply die if there are no other outside factors preventing this of course. But that is something that will have to be discussed case by case.

To give credit to Moro, he was knowledgable about Energy Drain and consuming life force / souls / ki. It was his whole Shtick so he must have had a Good Idea of how much Energy he can Feast on which would require him knowing about his bodies limit in some way since it was to sate his appetite (?). So He probs had a vague idea on copying Merus's powers and assume it was within his limits.

He underestimated the Massive difference in power so I guess it works more in any UI Users Favor since other characters would make the same mistake without proper training
