Cole MacGrath vs Lapis Lazuli

The Wright Way said:
I mean, Cole could just blast them away with AP. Or fly away. Or speed amp and blitz them, returning us to my original question.
Blasting them one at a time duplicates them.

And he can't blast all of them at one time from how it looks, he'd get over whelmed too quickly considering a weakened Lapis could instantly create 4 clones.

And amping sounds like it would take too long and he would get hit and die to Lapis and her clones.

Those clones btw have all of lapis' water and ice manip powers and are able to restrain their opponents in bubbles of water

>Amping takes to long.

>Is thought based

Also, Cole could just... vaporize them. Because he's both stronger and is hitting a water construct with really strong lightning.

Oh nooo

In all seriousness any win cones for Cole?
One shotying because Lapis is a glass canon. They can both one-shot, that's kinda the point.

Wright are you the only one fighting for Cole at this point? Just checking.

I think this is safe to say unwinnable for Cole.

Too much water, ice gets cancelled, and even if there's the AP thing going for him there is that massive AP gap. Even if Cole can oneshot her, none of his attacks would be able to get through.

Yeah but I don't see any way for Cole to win due to massive AOE and her own AP > his AP. He'd have to get through the water to touch her

Me, Necro, seemingly Schnee...

How? Both have to hit the other once and both have the means to. "Too much water" it's not like she instantly starts with all the world's water. "Ice gets canceled" and her bounces off him harmlessly. "AP gap" Only with all the world's oceans, which takes time. Her attacks are just 7-A otherwise.

I'm voting for Lapis our matching him with pure numbers.
She can "summon" the Aquatic Gems (Water Clones) to fight with her and massively overwhelm this guy.

And electrocuting those guys won't do anything and they could even duplicate themselves again if he splits them.
She can, but will she? She only did that one time and it was when she knew she couldn't take on the Crystal Gems herself so she created clones. I think, or was it because she didn't want to deal with them? I don't remember.

But anyways, it's highly unlikely that she starts with them, but it's a possible wincon.

Idk about Schnee, looks like he just posted once

Ahh well in that case I'm still gonna have to vote Lapis. I just don't think Cole would go for his best (speed amp and blitz) right away in this case.

@Rhythm She would yes
No, she wouldn't. She only did it once while in a completely different situation. "People she bas an intense hatred for and while focused more on escape" vs "guy she's never met before and has no relationship with".

She's fought properly twice.

The second time was against the Diamond who obviously she wouldn't be able to clone because they're the mother ******* Diamonds.

Also, there was technically that moment with Jasper in the ship and the Ruby ship scene, both times she just used a water fist.

That wasn't a proper fight, she just punched Jasper away.

And she couldn't clone her team mates because....?
Ask Rebeca Sugar.
That's... not an argument, she just didn't do it because it's not a starting move. Even if the fights were minor or too little, they still count as fights, she only used the water clones once.

Lapis has been in all of two on-screen fights, one of which was lead with clones and the other with spammed water restraints, both of which would screw Cole over majorly

I almost want to close this because my spider sense tells me this won't go well

I also feel like it won't end well.

Btw I'm not voting for anyone yet, I'm just trying to analyze points and ask questions to then decide my vote.

Except for with Jasper on the ship and the Ruby ship.

And water clones don't screw Cole instantly. He can still vaporize them or just speed blitz with amps.

I mean, neither fanbase is particularly toxic so I really don't.

Those werent fights though
They only weren't fights because Lapis ended them with the first move. They were stomps in her favor, sure, but they were still aggressive encounters.

The first encounter was to get rid of Jasper, this is no different than pushing someone away, Lapis in this case had no intent to harm or kill.

As for the Red eye, Lapis intended to incap the machine, not to destroy or kill it.

Now, in the Diamond fight Lapis intended to kill and harm, and in he case of The Crystal Gems v Lapis, Lapis intended to harm them.

Uh, how do you know that? She had literally every reason to want Jasper dead and Lapis has never been one to be particularly restrained. There's no indication that she would hold back there.

No, she didn't, Jasper didn't attack her, Jasper didn't intend to harm her.

She literally knelt to Lapis begging to fuse again.

Lapis has no reason to kill Jasper and that is evident in her actions at how she doesn't even poof Jasper let alone shatter her.

She was trapped in a toxic fusion with her for months, that's plenty reason to want her dead. Not to mention, she was attacking Steven, who is really the only person Lapis had any emotional connection to at that point.

Jasper was BFR'd. Lapis can't shatter her if she isn't around to be shattered. Jasper not dying is just more indication that Lapis's regular attacks, without the entire planet's ocean, aren't High 6-A.

She also had no reason to hold back against the Ruby ship still.

>She was trapped in a toxic fusion with her for months, that's plenty reason to want her dead.

No, she wasn't, Lapis was intentionally keeping Jasper in that Fusion, it's as Jasper said "I thought I was a brute, but you? You're a monster."

Lapis could have left at any time but as they said "I liked taking my anger out on you, it was bad."

Lapis was the abusive controlling one not Jasper.

>Not to mention, she was attacking Steven

Which prompted her to thrown her away, it didn't prompt her to kill Jasper, this is just your headcannon.

>Jasper was BFR'd. Lapis can't shatter her if she isn't around to be shattered

Lapis has the chance to crush Jasper with all the water around her but she chose to get Jasper away and not harm her.

>Jasper not dying is just more indication that Lapis's regular attacks, without the entire planet's ocean, aren't High 6-A.

This is based on your headcannon Lapis is for some reason bloodlusted or some shit which is absurd.

Lapis doesn't need that quantity of Water to damage someone with her water.

>She also had no reason to hold back against the Ruby ship still.

Actually, she did, the episode even hints at her PTSD based on her powers and experience with Jasper.

She just wanted to get rid of even, she literally flicks it, that ain't killing intent or full power my dude.

Well I think I'll vote Lapis FRA. She can pretty much create a gigantic wall of water and yeet it at Cole if she needs to.

@Wright

<Steven Universe

<Not toxic

Are we talking about the same fanbase here?

Not everyone is toxic, and thankfully that seems to be the case for the Steven Universe fans here.

And I have to agree with Wright. Her just yeeting a mack **** ton of water at people is not a starting move, or even a standard move, nor is starting with clones.

Then what is? Because those are moves we've seen her lead with in actual fights she's been I

When i get home sure, cant really post anything at the moment as im at work but one of her main abilities in a fight in but the comics and the games shes in are launching large amounts of water, as well as, directly attacking people with water constructs, ensnaring them with water in the form of chains or bubbles, and making water clones

Oh definitely. On the off chance, gonna note that if Lapis notices Cole's weakness to water, such as him expressing pain when being soaked she'll spam it more. That said, if Cole keeps on dodging said water attacks it might be hard to notice.

Heading home in a few minutes but just want to point out that Lapis is incapable of hand to hand combat, her only means of fighting is by attacking with water
