Mido opens up some sort of a hologram console (which can now be used as a photo frame), presses a few things and both of them immediately come to life. Normally, the Lost stop moving only if they enter a deep slumber to further mutate and these two don't move at all until he does his thing.

Hmm... yeah, that's probably actually something important, though I can't think what it would be. Some weird form of limited resurrection?

Well, they weren't dead at all (it's stated by Oliver that some Lost that look dead - like the ones with axes put through their heads - are simply hibernating to mutate further), so, it's closer to some form of biological manipulation.
