ngl bro that shit looks like if it was written by a random powerscaler from tiktok
Nah, this shit is peak if you actually read. Powerscaling are just a background for this novel.ngl bro that shit looks like if it was written by a random powerscaler from tiktok
I don't think it's as good of an argument as you think, sir...Also, Su Zhou have more characters development than Yogiri and Ruphas combined.
Good enough to be not viewed as Powerscaling fiction lol.I don't think it's as good of an argument as you think, sir...
I mean, to be fair, "powerscaling" fiction is very subjective most of the time. I'd say, as long as the author put effort "around it", even if it is (literally or not) powerscaley, that's fine. I'm reading a story first and foremost, powerscaling comes later. The fact that most chinese cultivation bullshit gets hundreds of chapters definitely help flesh out the universe/characters (although some are still shit, just like any genre)Good enough to be not viewed as Powerscaling fiction lol.
Instant Death are fine for this, but not Ruphas final battle dawgthe author put effort "around it", even if it is (literally or not)
Come later in a CRTAlso, I just checked the sandbox, was the High 1-A+ accepted or is it something that will come into a future CRT?
Ehhhh, final battle was for fun tbf, whole point is a "childish fight", rest of the universe and characters are exploited fairly. If anything, it's mocking PWS.Instant Death are fine for this, but not Ruphas final battle dawg

This novel is what happen if Christianity combined with Daoism are right and the protagonist is a Chinese Jesus. Also everyone and their moms have their own ideology and philosophy, all of the battle in the novel are just a very violent philosophical debate.
The main theme of the novel is "correctness" and how love is the basis for all things in existence. It assert that benevolent action will lead you closer to the truth itself. The novel also assert that it was impossible for an omnipotent beings to be malicious, because in their infinite, eternal, and absolute existence, what use is their actions against a finite, mortal, and limited beings? The novel challenge the trope of "Gods are assholes".
So these "omnipotent" beings also want others to reach their level, because they don't want to be lonely, this they loved the world itself. And that all of creation are created because the top existences within the verse love all things, since if they are looks and act like what gods portrayed nowadays, the universe wouldn't even exist in the first place.
that is not difficult tbh lmaoAlso, Su Zhou have more characters development than Yogiri and Ruphas combined.
Weakest chinaman be like.
VsA towering figure emerged from within the pavilion. With thick eyebrows and piercing eyes, he was not traditionally handsome, yet exuded an unmistakable aura of masculinity.
Xin Huo sighed. "Su Yun is the most beautiful and handsome man in the world, perhaps even in all of history. Yet the woman he loves cannot wholeheartedly follow him."
I chalk it up to authors not knowing how to write beings who've transcended mortality. Honestl,y the concept of a 'harem' should lose meaning completely once you become able to control your own biology, or life and death.Sincerely you would expect them to change their looks permanently by how easy is to get shapeshifting and the like in Xianxia.
It's not that they can't write them , the reason should be pretty clear. They're writing for us humans, not for something that completely lacks humanity. By that logic, you could say they should also lose emotions, passion, pride ,desire for power and so on, since those are human traits too.I chalk it up to authors not knowing how to write beings who've transcended mortality. Eh, I've seen plenty of novels do it well. For Cultivation, which is literally about understanding the truths of the universe, I don't see any issues in losing some basic human traits, and having them replaced with higher philosophy. It's not that they can't write them , the reason should be pretty clear. This is a singularity.
Before this singularity, no matter how powerful an Extraordinary Being is, they are merely a powerful person. Even with endless lifespans, able to observe cycles and watch a civilization rise and fall... but the things lost cannot be regained, and those who have left can only be remembered.
Thus, they will value and cherish, even if the people beside them are merely short-lived beings that will decay in a hundred years. They will have some basic 'consensus' to communicate.
But after this singularity, an Extraordinary Being can no longer stand on equal footing with individual humans, because everything ordinary people cherish is, in the eyes of an Extraordinary Being, merely a bubble in a dream, shattering at a touch, and can be reborn at will.
Their existence itself can create a race, a civilization, or even a world... even surpassing these concepts.
Brahma's dream— for such a Transcendence existence, the difference between the life and death of ordinary people is indeed as illusory as a dream, and it is impossible to treat them equally.
"Creator... Heavenly Sovereign."
Same, also transcending mortality, being able to control your own biology or life and death, is not enough to make the concept of a harem meaningless, as a harem just needs you to have multiple lovers or wives, so the essence of a harem is romantic love itself, which does not need a physical body. There are harem MCs who have purely conceptual beings in their harem, with no physical body, like the whatness of evil, space, time,laws ,justice, darkness etc., even non-physical abilities themselves that are outside the story and are the end of the story itself, souls, weapons etc.Eh, I've seen plenty of novels do it well. I think this is a good example;
You don't need or will lose them once you get on a higher realm of existence or dimensionality. Not like we know how such a state is. You could also say that by getting on a higher realm your emotions/humanity is amplified because you can get a broader scope of how humans are, how animals are, how nature feels, etc...to better see the good or bad within all sentient beings (like how Su Zhou loves everything ... or Marie from Dies Irae), just like how the more you have of a thing (ex. money) the more you want (even more money).Eh, I've seen plenty of novels do it well. Not gonna lie, this love stuff just makes me think of this guy since his love loves all things, all life forms, all worlds, and all spacetime. His love for all things has no emotions(feelings) in itself. You don't need or will lose them once you get on a higher realm of existence or dimensionality. Not like we know how such a state is. In Cosmic Professional Gladiator, the MC explore how each lifeform has feelings, emotions and thus can be affected by his Dao Intent (illusions) as everyone wishes for something no matter how strong or weak they are - be it money, to be more intelligent, to be more powerful, to be immortal, to transcend the universe, to comprehend the truth of the universe, to feel love, to kill someone, etc. So no matter what realm of cultivation you have, there will be something that you wish, want or hope for thus emotions are omnipresent no matter how cold you may appear as. Even something as simple as wanting to not want something is an emotion.
I get that, but at some point, it feels like you'd be operating on something beyond emotion if that makes sense. Like, once you can fully control your mind, or no longer even have a physical brain, the love you have towards someone as a mortal would become something entirely different as an Immortal. So no matter what realm of cultivation you have, there will be something that you wish, want or hope for thus emotions are omnipresent no matter how cold you may appear as. isn't this the same verse that spaceman made cosmology crt about
Yea lolisn't this the same verse that spaceman made cosmology crt about![]()
Because in that verse, characters prioritized researching their thema (concept/essence) and reaching the truth of their magic above anything else, sometimes to the point where good and evil didn’t matter. It also requires them to research the truths of the world. Thema is part of their existence, soul, spirit, and nature. Sometimes it's even the opposite of them. That guy’s thema was Caritas (love). He manipulated everyone so they could defeat/destroy his flesh, allowing him to separate himself from sensus (love with emotions, feelings, and passion), so he could make his thema (Caritas) into a perfect, singular, and total thema: Amore ( love without sensus.)How does that even work?
Gu Changge was universal to multiversal before chapter 500. Fang Yuan has no chance. I expect Gu Changge to be at least tier 1 till now. Even Manhua Gu Changge slaps RevIns verse powerscaling wise but writting wise its reverse.I think some people really dislike or Fang Yuan because this might be the third time ( in reddit) I have seen Fang Yuan vs Gu Changge (from I am thr Fated Villain, if you don't know). Since Gu Changge is atleast universal+ and Fan Yuan is solar system+, I think. They Need you stop this ragebait post
One of the closest MC to such a state of emotionlessness is the MC from Floating Immortal Order (dropped novel..sad but i mtl ed through it 285/490...they were so close but yet so far) as he becomes the Heavens, the Immortal Dao, the emotionless embodiment of it.I get that, but at some point, it feels like you'd be operating on something beyond emotion if that makes sense. Like, once you can fully control your mind, or no longer even have a physical brain, the love you have towards someone as a mortal would become something entirely different as an Immortal.
I just wish more novels explored how the meaning or 'value' of a relationship evolves. Because it wouldn’t be driven by lust or appearance anymore, not in a world where anyone can sculpt themselves into perfection.
The Will of Heaven Psyche belonging to the Immortals from many eons ago was an extremely cold and ruthless frame of mind, but still held a trace of tolerance for their own kind.
But Xu Disheng’s Will of Heaven Psyche was different from even the Immortal beings of old, being utterly indifferent and selfish to the extreme!
Under heaven and earth, only I can live forever.
No other being will be permitted!
Under heaven and earth, only I can transcend.
No other being will be permitted!
Under heaven and earth, I, alone, am Immortal.
Aside from me, no other being can become an Immortal!
Nice novel as its goes against the usual mc defies heaven to gain immortality...here the immortals of old are dead and the gods and buddhas rule where everyone can have eternal lifespan but the MC does the opposite and shackles all lifeforms to limited longevity. In this world, I will personally create the shackles of fate, firmly tying down countless beings with the lock of destiny that I have established. These countless beings will be suppressed for eternity, and they will never have any chance of rebellion. No being’s lifespan can exceed 100 years, and the rest of their lifespans will serve as my sustenance for countless eons!
Suppressing countless beings in the three heavens and nine realms, depriving them of their lifespan, reestablishing the order of heaven and earth, and returning everything in this world to the predestined fate that I have established, from which they will never be freed.
This is the true path of Xu Disheng!
tbh fang yuan and ri i think are exception in powerscaling of chinamans, i can't even remember any other cultivator who is weaker than universal+ except for him and trilogy by author eagle eats chicken is also good, i am planning to read perfect world and ergen verse also. I think jfde is ok but ending of heavenly will battle made me dropped the novel but techniques in that novel that pretty interesting.Gu Changge was universal to multiversal before chapter 500. Its just the glazing for RevInsanity and LotM that created such situations. Truly elitist fandoms most of the time.
Warlock in a Magus World and its MC Leylin is also stronger as he's universal in his novel and multiversal in the another novel that shares its verse. The author of these novels does get inspired by other series like Carefree Path of Dreams has an mc that is clearly Fang Yuan...also same name. Or Mysterious Tribulations is clearly LotM inspired just like how Warlock is inspired by Coiling Dragon and Mage in another World...his name is not without a backing The Plagiarist kek. Nepuko did say Mysterious Tribulations is in a lot of places better than LotM....maybe i'll read sometimes in the far future.
Not really there are a lot of novels that scale lower than universal. Just that its easier to find verses that reach low 2-C and 2-B for chinamen. Perfect World is one of the strongest novel out there if you include Shrouding the Heavens and other novel that share its verse...you get directly statements of higher dimensions and dimension Dao. Like on chinese websites Perfect World and its verse is usually in top 10 strongest.tbh fang yuan and ri i think are exception in powerscaling of chinamans, i can't even remember any other cultivator who is weaker than universal+ except for him and trilogy by author eagle eats chicken is also good, i am planning to read perfect world and ergen verse also. IET's Seeking the Flying Sword Path is around tier 4 at the end, compared to his normal tier 2 to 1 novels.
