First I would like to make it clear that this is completely speculation and my own thoughts on how Yhwach's powers interact with the environment and with others in Bleach.
In addition I'm not up to date with Bleach (having only watched the anime and learned other things from various places) so this shouldn't be looked at as an argument, but rather an idea or theory.
However one thing that Bleach tends to do a lot, and well, is foreshadow things in the series that occur in the far future (real life time wise).
Yhwach was born from the Soul King, whom guided spirits to the next world and maintain the planets which are composed of spirit particles.
Yhwach also created the Quincy, whom take control of and use spirit particles around them in order to create their equipment and power themselves.
My theory is most of Yhwach's abilities are a higher level of spirit particle awareness and manipulation, at least compared to other Quincy.
I believe this makes sense as most skills, matter and characters in bleach are composed of spirit particles in some way, either completely or partially. For example, the Soul King and Yhwach's ability to hold the spirit planet(s) together can be considered a much higher level of creating a bow or other weapon from spirit particles, but they can be considered the same ability in terms of function (creating stable matter from spirit particles).
Uryu has shown similar abilities to what Yhwach is capable of doing using the above, but on a much lower level. It should also be noted that lower level Quincys (Quincies?) are less elegant with their spirit manipulation, in most of these pages Uryu was at the point where he could only make spirit weapons and not make physical ones until later or without a power boost. I speculate that Yhwach being able to imitate abilities in their natural state (fire for example) is due to his much, much higher mastery/dominance over spirit particles:
