Change Non-Corporeal to Non-Corporeality

The power Non-Corporeal lacks the wording every other power has. Namely, it is an adjective, whereas a section being called “powers and abilities” as opposed to “description of a character through combat relevant description” kinda works against that being a good idea. We don’t have the powers “invisible”, “intangible” and ”transdual” so we certainly shouldn’t have this.

There is no reason for the power “Non-Corporeal” to continue existing and the very reason we have bots which make global edits is for cases like making every profile which says “[[Non-Corporeal]]” or “|Non-Corporeal]]” change to “[[Non-Corporeality]]” and “|Non-Corporeality]]”

However, in practice this just isn't important enough for Elizhaa, Promestein, or AKM sama to spend several days of work here editing almost 2000 pages with their Bot accounts.

Honestly, this thing bothered me every time I saw it but I just ignored it. I agree. But if it's too much of a hassle then that's too bad but OK.

Okay, so this idea is only being declined out of potentially doing a lot of work, even if a bot can easily cover it? Is there at least some chance of this being applied at a future date?

The main problem with this thread is the severity of a process needed to accomplish a reasonably small thing of course, so I'm prepared to have this closed if the issue isn't as easy to rectify as I portrayed it being.

To clarify, are you saying it would be too long of a task to occupy the bot's attentions with? Sorry, I rightfully don't trust my intuition at all on matters of internet bots.

Well, as far I'm aware, someone would have to make a list of all 2000+ profiles with nothing else in the middle, which would take a while, unless we just use as a filter for profiles the ones that have the Non-Corporeal Users category or so, respectively.

Somehow the concept of people not putting down all the categories required on the page escaped me lol. Although I'd be immensely surprised if that filter wouldn't cover almost every profile with non corporeality on tbh.

There are some members here who want you to make almost 2000 edits to update all "Non-Corporeal" links to "Non-Corporeality" with your Bot accounts for the sake of grammatical correctness and consistency.

I have told them that this is not realistic to demand for such a minor issue, but they seem to want confirmations from you.

Also ironically “grammatic“ isn’t a word and nobody really pushed for confirmation from those members, they just had queries about what Antvasima said.

Well, if you or/and AKM are truly willing to update almost 2000 pages with your MassEdit Bot scripts, after we change the name of the relevant page to Incorporeality, it is obviously very appreciated, but definitely not required of you.

I can agree that Incorporeality sounds better. I guess redirecting the page to Incorporeality could work for a quick solution. Later, I am also cool with changing Non-Corporeal to Incorporeality with my bot.
