You know what, I made a general discussion thread about chakra so we can discuss how it works and once its been agreed on make a blog for it, as it seems a lot of people disagree or don't know some of the stuff.

I will update the OP with info brought up and accepted.

Chakra:

Made up of Yin and Yang

If used correctly, it can be focused (by anyone with good enough control) to enhance Strength and Speed and Durability

Can allow Adhesivity with any surface, even if liquid, if someone has enough control.


Yin: Spiritual energy, increases with imagination and inteligence.

Yang: Physical energy, increases with physical strenght and stamin. Released from tenketsu


Sage of Six Paths Chakra: Passive statistic amplification.


nature energy:


biju chakra:


senjutsu chakra:

Obtained through combining yin, yang and nature energy.

If too much is absorbed, can petrify and partiarly transform into an animal

lol its funny that people are saying that it doesnt enhance physical stats which is just plain insane and annoying. We literally got feats of Naruto in base fighting 5B base Sasuke. Base Naruto one shotting TOneri and if anyone was wondering thats Naruto's chakra lol the movie was made by Kishi and Kishi's always had Naruto's chakra as gold.

Next feat is Base Naruto keeping up with Momoshiki and evading his attacks


The fact that Sasuke is 5B with physical attacks proves that SOSP enhances physical stats and now that im thinking about all of this is starting to get really annoying bruh that people just accept anything when we got proof about Naruto verse

Because she only got 5-A due to her atomizing the planet due to dust release.

He was genetically made to be able to do that.

Sage mode is hard to do because you need to balance it with your chakra, and because it takes a lot of chakra to use.

That should be true for all sage mode

It's Simple Really.

Chakra is the supernatural energy made up of Spiritual and Physical energy. There are 3 other Types on Chakra in the Naruto world.

• Six Paths

• Senjutsu

• Biju

Each one has shown to amplify Physical and Jutsu stats with Six Paths having "massive" results above the other two. Everything is proven and/or stated in verse.

I'll get into "what" can be done with Chakra later.

I know for a fact that we don't have a statement that explicitly goes over it in this way, but I also know that this isn't a bad understanding of it. At least, that's what I think at the moment.

Sakura and Tsunade are the main examples. While having a massive amount of Chakra in Quantity is stamina*, the Quality of Chakra and/or how much Chakra can be put out at once in one attack, combined with the ability to focus it into a single point (at least for physical strikes) is a trademark skill of these two— in addition to techniques like Chidori and Rasengan.

• IIRC, Karin's statement against Ay did use verbiage that did demonstrate that "Amount" can mean Quality as well. Much like Dragon Ball, where people can say "a lot of Ki" and "a strong Ki" or "huge Ki".

I personally believe it should be a case by case thing and okay to apply for certain characters who we know have the skills of high chakra control
