It's always ought to happen, but it's also nice to mention that the art in the physical copies are huge upgrades to what we get weekly. So reading in a volume format is always nice.Enjoyable chapter tbh, I can see this arc being really good once finished and I have the chance to binge read, but I also do see the criticisms of the chapters feeling like they're going nowhere especially for this one, but it seems like the fight is actually coming to a close and some new development will happen
That sounds interesting
I'm not screenshoting you guys and say "The duality of man"That sounds stupid

2020 actually, big anime accounts like to farm it every 3 months.thats from a 2021 interview, not a 2025/2026 like the post may imply
Could just be something a step above horsemen or on their level. The Locust must have eaten some primal flesh. I think we are about to find out why he was so strong real soon.
I mean denji was already seemingly low on blood considering he couldn't regenerate his two arms and had to rely on asa to throw it so he could try and reattach it, also Locust's scuffle with your wasn't really that long, she did majority of the damage to it before denji started fighting it and got turned back into asa who isn't really competent in using her power so idkIts weird to me (powerscaling wise) that Denji got injured so badly by Yorus Bangs that he was taking well before, as he just ate the ´´locust devil´´ that was low diffing yoru, he should have gotten a considerable power boost from eating the meat of a strong devil like him
i believe pochita did seem to get stronger after eating death, at how he could clash his chainsaws with the michigan sword
but this make it look like like eating devils doesnt increase pochitas or denjimans strength because they get erased or smth, but still, they are still ´´inside´´ their stomachs, it should increase their strength

he should have gotten blood from the locust devil, he literally said to want to go to hell to eat some devils and didI mean denji was already seemingly low on blood considering he couldn't regenerate his two arms and had to rely on asa to throw it so he could try and reattach it, also Locust's scuffle with your wasn't really that long, she did majority of the damage to it before denji started fighting it and got turned back into asa who isn't really competent in using her power so idk
We only see him eat his head so ig that is a good point, but eh, plus isn't your able to change the output and range of her bang anyways?he should have gotten blood from the locust devil, he literally said to want to go to hell to eat some devils and did
I agree with this actually, especially now, all these chapters play out more like little scenes of a movie u would see on youtubeive been enjoying the story but my god the delivery method is so ass. its the equivalent of watching a movie at home and then pausing every 15 minutes, and deciding to continue the next day with another 15.
it reminds me why i prefer to read these in a bulk.
CoughFujimoto basically completely gave up on satisfying the weekly readers and is looking for Part 2 to just be an enormous final payoff in the finale– which is normally career-suicide for a mangaka, but CSM's sheer popularity and jump+ schedule lets him get away with it.
Basically, Part 2 is one big "what the **** is happening" until the finale, where (assuming Fujimoto maintains his skill in writing) we all collectively break down in tears and declare Part 2 as utter kino surpassing Part 1.
In that chapter you’re posting, we had Rewind AFO getting jumped by half the verse, before turning it around into a complete decimation of the heroes the very next chapter. It then got followed by Todoroki family conclusion, Ochako and Toga, All Might vs AFO and then getting back to Deku and Shigaraki, who we saw a total of like one time between 30 chapters of this image of them. All I got to say about this chapter is that This must be how MHA Manga fans felt when they had to read "Shigaraki and Deku hold a stalemate" for multiple chapters on end

that's 100% true, MHA had things to back up on while the stalemate was happening. In that chapter you’re posting, we had Rewind AFO getting jumped by half the verse, before turning it around into a complete decimation of the heroes the very next chapter. There is literally nothing going on except the Yoru Denji fight and having infinite cliffhanger chapters. Been enjoying it, but the level of pump fakes, random bs and weird decisions is making this whole thing kinda unremarkable. Cause the question has been “is this when something in the fight changes” for the last like 10 chapters. Hopefully now, Yoru is gonna do something that changes things up, but that’s what we thought when they went to Hell, and it’s what we thought when she did the moon flag, and it’s what we thought when Shrimp Devil over here showed up and it’s what we thought when she did the Michigan / Oregon Sword.
It just feels like nothing is actually happening or is required to get to the whatever conclusion is coming up.
Sure but Yoru and Denji/Pochita have been doing this song and dance for god knows how long. The fight is literally operating in a cycle at this point.Ngl this just sounds like the same issue people had with Shinjuku arc. I can't really see the issue, every chapter isn't gonna be an amazing wow moment where something gets revealed or something incredible happens. Sometimes a chapter is just a build up or a cool down from the peak before. We're simply transitioning now
It's only been like 9 chapters. And its the first time we've ever seen Yoru showing off her full capabilities. A cycle is good.Sure but Yoru and Denji/Pochita have been doing this song and dance for god knows how long. The fight is literally operating in a cycle at this point.
Maybe we're not building up to either of those conclusions. And it fits that with death gone, the fight would become dragged out with endless losing and winning no? Them going to Hell was likely Fujimoto just wanting to show a new devil. I assume next chapter will be the end or the next stage that leads us to something big.It doesn’t feel like we’ve made any progress to save Asa or beat Yoru especially when she just cooked Denji with Bang spam and no one can still die. We literally had the locust devil randomly show up, say nothing beat them up and die the next chapter with nothing being answered and Denji being put in the same postion he was in at the end of the second round.
To be fair the Yoru fight has been going for over 10 chapters at this point but yeah it isn’t as long as the Shinjuku Raid but it somehow feels irritating. Maybe it’s the cliffhangers and pacing that’s affecting my enjoyment. It's only been like 9 chapters. And its the first time we've ever seen Yoru showing off her full capabilities. A cycle is good.

Sometimes we all just throw a bug in the mixbut if he really just wanted to throw a bug into the mix then that’s bad
Locusts are what came before Darkness in the Bible. So could be Fujimoto saying darkness devil will come soon. I'd expect it considering Death, a primal devil was erased, thus throwing other primal fears out of whack. Or it could signal Death's return since after Locusts, comes darkness then Death. To be fair the Yoru fight has been going for over 10 chapters at this point but yeah it isn’t as long as the Shinjuku Raid but it somehow feels irritating. I think even if Death was gone and Fujimoto wanted to show how tedious it is, two chapters of endless action with no end in sight would have established it just fine. Dennis’ goal is to save Asa and beat Yoru. It would be very weird if the protagonist establishes a goal then makes zero progress on it just for something random to instead occur. Fujimoto basically swerving into a new devil introduction with no explanation is honestly just bad writing. He probably has some other idea he’s setting up but if he really just wanted to throw a bug into the mix then that’s bad
i guess that Hell has multiple dimensions or separated parts within it, each door teleports you to different places to it, so different devils that you will see there, some places in hell being completely inhabitated, maybe because a strong Devil claimed that specific part as their territoryAlso I'd like to throw out something else that may explain why Hell seems empty with devils but is flooded. I figured locust swarm and the flood happened close to one another but they didn't. Given locust's destroy stuff in the bible, it's likely they could've been released by a primal devil or released due to some combination of death and some other devil's erasure and went killing a bunch of devils.
There's also Genesis 8:11, where Noah uses ravens and doves to find if the water had left the surface of Earth while on the Ark. When Pochita and Yoru returned to Earth, Denji fights the Locust devil and towards the end, we are shown doves. I don't think it's a coincidence Fujimoto decided to randomly put doves here to maybe signal something's come back or something's left the world like the water had.
Likely because Denjita said bro tasted like shrimp when he ate itShrimp devil?
Shrimp devil?
