Honestly fair, however-

The way I see it, either Bat's Sonic AP is Pulverization and Fox's Chomp and Pochita's Dropkick is V. Frag, meaning the scale's:
8-C -> High 8-C+ -> 8-B+ -> Baseline 8-A -> 8-A -> 8-A+

And the latter just lines up better with the typical destruction we see in the story. Heck, Reze's biggest explosions are only 9-A+, assuming the Movie doesn't buff her.

(Also, the Wiki's current method of Volume Destruction calcing is fundamentally wanked anyway, so lower is generally better. Still better than K.E. though)

The thing with Reze is—she's pretty weak, the weakest out of the majority of hybrids. This is mainly because something that contributes to the imagery of her concept (nuclear weapons) doesn't exist anymore. As a result, the imagery tied to the concept of bombs is now limited to everything else, like C4, rocket launchers, landmines, grenades, and maybe airstrikes. You get the gist.

Since nothing correlating with the concept of bombs (without nuclear weapons) has potency beyond 8-A, Reze can't either. Even so, she's still weaker than her Awakened Devil counterpart. However, her explosions are still noteworthy, and the potency of her attacks is even more so. I don't see her attacks being weak as a way to place her lower on the AP spectrum, but rather as a function of the plot itself. Eventually (or at least what I believe Fujimoto is implying), the Nuclear Weapons Devil will return, and it will probably affect Reze in some way.

I was gonna bring up how terrible the affects of airstrikes were, but then I remembered how WWII, Vietnam, etc... no longer happened. Minefields and C4 are still a problem though, but fair enough.

Fear Empowerment doesn't work that way (Falling from terminal velocity isn't 7-C) but I digress.

I was also about to argue that just because Denji is weaker than Pochita doesn't mean that logic holds for every Hybrid, honestly that would make sense even if canon doesn't confirm it.

Kinda weird why Quanxi's so strong, but then again people would carry crossbows more since they can't own guns in Chainsaw Man.

She only gets that high because she pretty much mastered her abilities. However, she would lose to Part 2 Denji (Post-Fear Boost). However that sounds like a vs match idea more than thread banter.

This is a severe understatement. Yoshida held his own against Quanxi, despite her holding back and not using her full potential. He still managed to draw blood from her. His strength should scale to 8-B+, it’s just that base Quanxi upscales from that value tremendously. Not to mention, Angel and Aki blocked an attack from her using both their strength while wielding weapons, yet they were still immediately incapacitated, as was everyone else who took a direct hit from Quanxi. Yoshida’s body is just physically tough—he was able to block and even withstand multiple attacks from that casual Quanxi while also landing his own. It’s also obvious that he’s not weaker than Post-Training Chainsaw Man at all, at least based on what we’ve been shown. And, there's also support from Makima who chose to hire him as protection for Denji.

This should be revised to;
Bat Devil's Sonic Attack: 9.14 / 91.14 tons of TNT

  • Yoshida (Baseline scaling, stronger than Kishibe, held his own and did damage to a casual Quanxi), higher with octopus

  • Blood Devil Power's Physicals (Pochita told her she'd come back as a powerful Devil, putting her at least above Bat)

Kishibe's strength is also up for debate, as the scene where he took out a fresh Post-Training Chainsaw Man (the day before he re-matched Katana Man) shows no tears or indications of him using his contracts. This scene strongly suggests that Kishibe relied on raw physical strength against that version of Denji. Therefore, his contracts with the Knife, Needle, and Claw Devils should also upscale from his physical strength.

Part 1 Pochita should be scaling to
Mt. Elbrus Eruption Percentage Math/100% Gun Devil KE: 128.18 kilotons / 15.94 megatons of TNT

As he was able to hold his own against the 4 Horsemen, nearly erasing War from existence, also including his other spectacular feats which place him long and beyond even 100% of the Gun Devil.

Part 2 Pochita has reaches and has been shown to have strength on par with Primordial Devils. The anti-feat of him being obliterated by the Gun Goddess is because he was already on 40 HP and ran out of blood, so naturally he was incredibly fragile along with the fact that he was off guard.

Alright fair enough, although that does make me wonder- since Makima called Angel the 2nd Strongest after Kishibe in the Special Division, and Denji's in the Special Division, wouldn't that mean Angel and Kishibe scale above Post-Training Hybrid Denji too?

Kishibe fought with knives the first time he went against Denji and Power though, so it'd be a bit odd if he didn't use them that time. It's possible they were just stabbed in the neck (Power) or head (Denji) a bunch. That said, I do see where you're coming from in general.

That was during the Horsemen Fight, and that plus all those other feats happened way before Part 1. In addition, Pochita also faced off against Death herself during that confrontation, so however strong he was back then has no bearing on how strong he was against Makima.

I mean, at the time, Denji was in Special Division 4, yet Makima still claimed Angel and Kishibe to be the top two, pretty much aligning with what the story is telling us.

That's true that it would be odd, but for support, if you look at Denji's face, you see a nosebleed and bruises indicating blunt trauma, so that's also some foundation of support.

We have no idea if Pochita held his own against Death, much less even grasped her. All we know is that we have no reason to believe Awakened Pochita had become any weaker than his Prime counterpart.

Remember that Yoru is pretty dumb, she essentially has no idea that the reason she can't use her abilities is that she was in a mental realm. It also makes sense for those weapons to be strong because Yoru felt immense guilt while making them. Moreover, the Gun Goddess is a sub-prodigy of the Gun Gauntlet, making it even stronger since it has a K.E. booster on it. Pluss, Denji also refuted the idea of the Aging Devil's realm to be power-based (and we'll see his idea of escape in the chapter this Tuesday). This is also hilarious because I have physics Tuesday, but I have 2 assignments I've yet to do because I procrastinated tf out of my Sunday.

That's where Makima's statement comes into play. He would be that strong had he not been so lazy. He is almost always unwilling to fight unless commanded to, on top of being suicidal. Plus, Denji kind of had the support of Beam, who was probably helping him avoid getting dragged in like Angel. It might be more of a scenario of LS than AP when I think about it, as it is a force dragging and if pulled to the center would essentially just crush the victim.

Honestly, considering how much worse Angel did against Quanxi compared to Kishibe and especially Yoshida, I'm tempted to have just Angel w/ Regular Weapons scale to/above Hybrid Denji. I mean, Masked Violence did a better job staying on his feet against Typhoon compared to Angel.

Lifting Strength to resist force of wind or not, Angel still thought that Typhoon could've sent him flying fast enough to kill him to the point that his life flashed before his eyes (Had a flashback to his pacific islander(?) wife). As a full-on devil, his physicals would scale to either Fox or Bat.
 
I mean, Angel does have his wings, which would probably add more wind trajectory on his part, and Galgali instantly went for cover. Even Aki was able to hold onto something to somewhat resist the force of the wind pressure. However, he did worse than others against Quanxi, which embodies Makima's statement about his potential strength being that high, but not his current strength.

ok so, it's confirmed that Old Age literally designed the world. uh, humans can apparently turn into trees if they reach nervana, and denji eating blood gives pochita the boost. also asa apparently has some innate knowledge to make weapons now? even without her power? at least I'm assuming she didn't know how to make an axe out of grass and sticks before yoru

Aging just keeps turning Pochita to dust and Pochita just keeps regenerating.

So either Aging fights Pochita forever, or Aging boots Denji and Asa out of its world so Pochita stops receiving blood.

she made an axe to split the human trees open
so denji could get at the juicy insides

also yeah, basically he's the support/healing while pochita is fighting
