could yoru pull a DIO, saying Bang as fast as she can, and just
level all of japan

The fact that it was offscreen makes it open to interpretation. The holes are small enough to have just come from Makima punching through them, given Bang liquified Power's whole torso & thensome.

I agree it's very odd. Perhaps it's because Yoru is still recovering her full strength. The big attacks she has in mind can't be used with her regular power, so she needs extra sacrifices in order to seriously damage Pochita. There's still no indication Yoru has returned to her full strength, just that she's gotten stronger than before.

It's also a reminder of how messed up the CSM world is. Unlike most other anime, you can't get stronger or fight the enemies through training or magic/energy. You have to beat them at their own game. But in order to do that, you have to either trade bits and pieces of yourself to devils till there's nothing left, be a complete psychopath who sacrifices a countless number of innocent people, be good-looking enough that certain devils make contracts with you with relatively little cost, or you have to be lucky enough (and I use the word lucky loosely) that a devil decides to fuse with you and become your heart. I think the only person in the CSM world who's become an ace fighter through physical prowess and talent alone is Kishibe, since we've never seen him use any of the contracts he made with devils. But he was said to be physically gifted since he was a child, so he's obviously the exception. Point is, becoming stronger in the CSM world ain't easy.

The only thing the Power of Friendship is good for in Chainsaw Man is moral support for your traumatized adopted sibling, and breaking the chain of abuse with hugs, and even then some Vietnam Vet in suspenders can just shit on your whole life anyway.
 
Damn my Goat is a bum. Wonder if eating aging devil will make him stronger/ give him a power-up. (Also, reminder that Yoru still hasn't even recovered nuke devil yet.)

  • Requires 80,000 fingers to activate (High standards, confident)
  • Gorgeous Jesus Hair, clearly uses conditioner
  • Dominant Tyrannosaurus Rex stance, obviously inspired off of DarknessChad's Pterodactyl skull
  • Insane thematically connected intercontinental railgun attack
  • Turned Tokyo into a donut, ludicrous attack speed
  • The horrors of the Military Industrial Complex (based)
  • One-shot Pochita (massive boost to Mama Yoru's stocks, clear team player)

Japan's Allegorical Devil:
  • Name mistranslated because it was so ass (Senility Devil)
  • Only needs a couple fingers to contract (Cheap date, low self-worth)
  • Somehow balding as a woman, lmao
  • Blud needs a chair, doesn't even have the Primal Fear double jointed arms
  • Punches through mirrors, barely related to Aging at all
  • Damaged the ground, offered no new feats
  • The horrors of old people in charge sacrificing the young (OK Boomer)
  • Jobbed to Pochita twice because it wanted to die (harmed Primal Fear's stocks in the process, very inconsiderate)

In Conclusion:
USA! USA!

The Yoru-Sukuna memes were accurate because just like Agito, Tank ain't doing shit. (Favorite kids should've been Gun and Bomb, and Yoru only called on Gun to troll the Reze fans)

Yeah, tanks were specially created for war unlike bombs, so it makes more sense, but tanks also feel less distinct from guns (basically a gun/cannon on treads) while bombs are more there own separate thing, and have been previously introduced in the story.

Pochita gets back up, blitz-bisects Old Age Devil (my goat wouldn't kill kids on purpose), rushes Yoru, and gets shot again. Asa takes back control out of fear of Yoru, then Kiga shows up in the last panel to say "Ok. That's enough for now, thanks Asa."
 
Honestly hoping that pochita shakes the fraud allegations like yoru so we can have an epic final battle

the problem is we don't know how long it took the bullet to reach japan
we know the distance, it was around 29,166 km since thee statue shot the long way around the globe, and there didn't seem to be much of a delay between yoru calling for the Bang and the sniper's bullet hitting, but it could be anywhere from instant to a couple seconds
also need to figure out how large the finger that was shot is

Since Pochita was caught off guard, ig we cant really use the supersonic time frames that we did for the summoning feat huh. What about using number of panels, that method seems to be quite common
