Idn, the action scenes shown were all drawn. If they spent three years working on this movie and still couldn't find the effort to fully animate Denji then I'm gonna be pissed.

Pretty sure it would be the fear of mythological/religious demons and devils rather than the actual devils going around, like how Angel represents religious angels rather than any real world beings in Chainsaw Man.

I don't think the wording of "couldn't find the effort" is appropriate. Chainsaw Denji was cg because drawing his complex and rigid design 12 to 24 times per second is a heraclean task. And animating cg isn't a walk in the park by itself either.

Tbh the only problem with 3D CG in anime is simply because most of the time they just let a 60fps badly textured model running around. I don't really see that problem with CSM, at least that's one of the best I've seen in anime.

Looked at my Reze calc again thanks to the trailer and I'm noticed- while it's roughly 16 loops for the whole glove/arm, it's only about 10 to where her elbow is, which is where the last explosions come from. Recalcing with the shorter fuse length yields Mach 33.54, or High Hypersonic. Which is consistent(?) with her regularly outmanuvering Denji for most of their fight, if Denji scales to around Mach 20.34.

Not necessarily, it's just that Reze was far more skilled than Denji at the time, which was the reason he was unable to land a hit on her. He would probably end up scaling.

Exactly, Reze is faster because she's more skilled. Unlike Denji, who's basically just doing normal moments but with chainsaws added on them, Reze applies her powers to her movements, by using explosions to propel herself. She even tells Denji that he isn't applying himself, and Beam notes how Chainsaw Man (Pochita) moves around by using his chains.
Tellingly, when Denji does apply himself at the very end of the fight (wrapping up himself and Reze in his chains), he manages to get the drop on her despite Reze previously dancing in circles around him. So Denji's Hypersonic+, but his gigabrain stuff like the Beam-horse (
