Okay so like, Darkness is allowed to be the Force of Nature it is because Darkness isn't the main threat for a whole arc. It's there for 3 chapters, and the main threat is Santa.

Falling and Aging however are extended duration threats, and also are actual characters, and even recognizable but warped psychologies are still less threatening than something completely unrecognizable.

ok so
just saw the bingo card for next chapter on the subreddit
and one jumped out at me
'fumiko becomes a fiend/hybrid'

you guys think a primal fiend/hybrid could exist?
like, old age and pochita fight, obviously pochita wins, fumiko is dying of no liver
they do a fusion ha
and both antagonists get a second wind
what would they even look like

For fiends- ignoring the difficulties of getting a Primal Fear down to 1 HP, I don't see why not- they're still Devils after all.

For Hybrids- less certain about that. All the Hybrids so far have been based on physical objects (bows, bombs, swords, etc...) I dunno how the logistics of making someone a Hybrid with a something non-physical like an action (Falling) or a concept (Death) would work.

Fumiko's outsides would just more accurately resemble her personality more.

Uhhhhh, going by fiend logic- probably Fumiko's body with Aging's head, but the split-head parts are Fumiko's head except with white hair and age lines?

Also she spontaneously equips high heels.

Fumiko could be worse than Makima, such a twisted mind she has.

The way Denji rises from the pile of corpses is spine chilling, it's like a reaper just made Makima it's target.
One of his coolest moments so far.
 
ok so
Old Age can turn people into trees just on his own? or did he super age Pochita into the tree state? he's apparently just so powerful that being bisected like 3 times doesn't even do any lasting harm, though he does feel pain

If that's simply aging, then does Devil turn into trees too? But when Pochita "heals" he apparently turns normal again, so it's kinda weird tbh.
 
This fight is basically just Pochita and Aging pulling a Raiden vs. Armstrong, except they take turns being either side.
 
The page where Pochita tears through Aging is so good omg. Banger chap, Pochita is prob gonna make Denji barf Octopus or Nuke next chap.
