As you try opening the door, someone tries going inside the building through that same door. The shirtless man looks down on you, grinning behind his wolf mask.

"Well well, look what we have here."

The armor has a program where it can grow blades on its right arm and convert its left arm into a cannon. The visor of the armor comes with several levels of vision, such as infrared.

He has a simple plan in mind make a clone about 2 meters closer to Sleeper, and have him body swap with him since he would be in proximity. That of course is after him using counter through the powerhub to help him resist these effects and instead have them cause sleeper to go motionless instead. Worst case scenario? Exactly this.

S.R.E.E. activates the blade and trys to cut through the restraints. At the same time she starts to try to make a blue-print of the suit for her own designs.

[Thanks for the heads-up, though. Is there anything Wind can gleam through her Strategy skill, as she's taking notes?]

Wind is furiously taking notes, and has drilled through several pages. Earth's reclining back against a wall, careful not to press too hard against it.

Hearing about another fire-based Shard makes me shiver a bit, knowing about the destruction my own can cause. "That sounds like a frightening duo, and their actions are even more frightening. At least we have an idea of their leadership, though. Have there been any recent developments on the three my team could help you guys with, or is there other areas that need our assistance?"

You successfully cut out of the pod. Around you are three more armors. Trying to replicate the schematics of the armor doesn't work as you realize that it doesn't run off of the laws of reality that you understand.

The three men look to the wall.

The man in the coat frowns.

"What's going on? I just felt a need to-oh, you're a cape."

As you attack him, the man grins harder. The bottle is stopped right in front of his skin by what appears to be metal blades. They grow all over his body pushing outwards while his flesh is sucked inwards until you're standing body a metallic wolf shaped mass of sharp objects.

Klawz continued dueling with the men, swinging and slashing wildly with his claws, even as a few of the gunshots managed to dig into his scaly skin.

"Hmm... Well, what else is there to know? How does the main base work? In fact, where is the base at all?"

"In that case, we'll head out for a patrol around one of the frequent hitpoints of The Merchants. They seem to be the least organized, and the least prone to large organized action, but their activity is spread out more and likely more frequent."

Wind packs up her notes, while Earth gets up from his position, and we get on our way back to the teleportation mechanism. I instruct the team to all think of a specific point on the map that was marked for the Merchants.

S.R.E.E. uters her first words. "Strange..." She uses her ability to make the suit look like herself, she then starts looking at the other suits.

Vincent sprints as fast as he can towards the door he came from, zig zagging around the people watching the dogs fight, making sure the path the wolf would make to follow him would be as difficult as possible.

Eventually you get to what was supposed to be one of the Merchant's warehouses, but you find a grisly surprise. Everyone there was massacred. Body parts and blood pools are everywhere.

The armor morphs to looking like a sleeker version of S.R.E.E's original body. The other armors look the same as the first armor.

The people notice the commotion and see that you're the one the wolf guy is after. They try blocking your way and attacking you. The wolf starts running at you.

"Don't run away now, you had a good start, keep it up!"

As you get ready to teleport away, you see that the monster within the wave has closed onto your position.

I immediately teleported at full speed again, climbing up to 1000 meter and teleport straight at the direction before, with the cat

Your head starts hurting again and you've arrived at an island cluster. You see the wave monster closing in.

I arrived at the far edge of the island cluster, and laid rest for a while, until the wave monster come too close and blasting off again, same at before.

S.R.E.E. does a small smile. "Mission: Start." She trys to disable the other suits (via lots of stabbing) and then cuts through the nearest door. She activates the arm cannon and looks around.

"Not backing down, eh?" I randomly pull out one of the grenades in my tinkertech bag and pull out the pin. "About time I tried one of these things out." I throw it at the monster. "Fire in the hole!"

Wind nearly screams before Earth puts his hand up to her mouth.

I chock up a bit and am aghast at the sight. Had to be inter-gang violence... no, this wasn't organized enough, I thought, another gang would have cleaned up better. This has to be the work of someone more crude, less methodical...

Vigilantes.

My gut does another turn from the thought of them. Vigilantes represented the worst of capes barring villains, and only perpetuated the violence they wanted to cease.

Wind calms down, although is still antsy. I direct Earth to move to the nearest entrance and keep watch, while I look for clues as to what exactly went down here.

[I do a perception check for all my characters; as well as use Investigation to deduct more information from whatever the three of us find. Earth moves to the nearest entrance/door and keeps watch there.]

I swing my feet at one of the guy's leg, trying to make him lose balance. I then grab him at the hips and shoulders and throw him towards the wolf.

I keep running towards the tank. When I get closer I run up against the wall and try to jump on the tank.

Seeing the grenade being thrown, I try to teleport a brick in front of it. Not sure if it will do any good, but it's probably the most I can do from here.

[Because, form my PoV he was in the right for attacking the dog guys. Also, Stand just showed up and is going to randomly blow up both sides of the fight. He has no reason to think the dog fighters are bad, cause he got there after they were attacking Kiryu, yet he's killing them as well nonetheless. So from my PoV he's just a psychopath who showed up out of nowhere, so I'm interfering with him.]

The monster catches up to you before you've had enough time to fully recuperate.

You successfully cut through the suits. As you cut through the door, sirens start blaring. You find yourself in a hallway with many doors.

The grenade is thrown by its flight path is interrupted by a brick that deflects it and it rolls to the other side of the building. It then erupts into a giant ice spike that freezes anyone who was near.

You see the way the bodies were killed. Some were sliced into pieces, and others were bruised and beaten. One of the attackers used a weapon, a sword judging from the size of the cuts, and the other used his fists. Wind notices bloody footprints. The most amount of footprints are two shapes. Thus, there were two attackers. As the two of them tell Earth this, he adds that there were only two sets of common footprints but some of the bodies had blown up heads. So there must have been a sniper staying off the ground.

You throw the guy successfully but it doesn't slow the wolf down as he just knocks the guy out of the air.

Any attempts at using Counter fail, whether his own powers don't work on him or he's stopped the use of that power, you can't tell. He frowns.

"Well, that wasn't very nice of you."

He turns to Cain.

"That's true I suppose, but it's supposed to be my chaos, my unpredictability. You are not of my design, so you need to be removed. This will only take a second. You're not going to feel anything after this."

The tank is surprisingly mobile, as it manages to knock you out of the air with its cannon before you reach it.

The deflection is successful and the grenade goes off in another part of the building.

The scientist comes to you and undoes your restraints. As he does so, sirens start blaring. He looks very afraid.

"Oh no, we have a breach in containment!"

He makes gestures at the guards and they start talking into their walkie talkies.

S.R.E.E. cuts down the nearest door and looks inside.

Ah that hurt. Good.

I quickly get up. What a rush! Maybe I should try if I have more abilities. This tank can keep up with me so maybe I have an abilitiy that gives me an advantage despite that. With that in though I decide to try and attack it.

I jump at it and then I use another ability, Schroedigner. Taking thirteen actions at once I slash at the tank at nine different places and intecerpt or dodge any possible attacks witht my other four actions.

Although caught off guard by the explosion of ice occuring nearby, Klawz continued on his duel with the dogfighters, grabbing a nearby man by the throat and hurling him with great force at his colleagues.

So a group of three... it wasn't a large group, but surprising given how vigilantes often act as lone wolves.

"Earth, let's try and see if we can follow the footprints to a location, if any. Since there's might be a sniper, you keep on whatever side is near any openings, or to our rear if they take us outside," I then turn to Wind, "Keep the skies clear if there's any signs of an overcast. We want to give them the least amount of cover as possible."

"Rodger..." Wind said, still looking slightly queasy.

"Mhm," Earth replied.

[Earth activates Stone Skin (if he has to, I'm assuming due to his Case 53 it's always sort of active but just checking), and Wind attempts to use Atmospheric control to (slowly) disperse any clouds that are in the sky out to the horizon. I attempt to track the footprints while they follow me. Additionally, I keep an eye on the floor for any objects of significance]
