So here's the deal, right? So a calc that had caused some confusion is the idea of calcing burning structures such as wood. While he does give an estimate of a 6 to 74% strength reduction, it's just a ballpark estimate rather than anything concrete (since, you know, it's burning). Thing is heat usually reduces the strength of, like, anything and wood does this thing called "disintegrate" when it burns. Is there a way to calculate the strength of burning materials, or are we stuck in that regard?
