Welcome to the official Breaking Bad discussion thread, where you can bring up thing like feats, memes, films, moments, etc., I dunno. You could also make quizzes or polls, but that's up to you. Now...

SAY MY NAME.

Jesse needs a profile.

Jesse had a profile. Back in like 2017 (I think?) I posted profiles for Walt, Jesse, and Gus. Gus was actually the 12,000th page IIRC? One of the 1000 milestones, I came out of hibernation just to see if I could snipe the spot. They were deleted later, no idea who by.

Haven't done much with the new continuation, but damn that show kicked ass in every way possible ffs.

Is it save to say all the characters are 10-B (higher with guns and chemistry)? I don't remember feats higher than that, maybe 10-A for Mike.

Jeese profile.

I think the ones that are the easiest to implement are Mike and Hank

(Would love to see a fight between the two in their prime tbh)

your profiles are trash anyways
I agree, I just wish others would listen to me smh

we'd probably be looking at 10-A for most guys, yeah, even Walt might be higher than he is considering he tussled with Jesse briefly, though that's moreso just a possibly.

Hey, do you think Walter White had some kind of Fate on his side? Walter White had too many coincidences for them not to be connected.

  • He found Jessie at the perfect time, his first connection to the underworld.
  • He was lucky to find Crazy 8 humbling through the street.
  • He was lucky Hank showed up to save his life from Tuco.
  • He was pretty ******* lucky Badger got caught and Walt found Saul.
  • He was lucky Jane choked to death on her vomit so Walt can keep Jessie around and not die on heroin like Jane.
  • He was lucky Hank trusted him and told Walt he was searching his RV.
  • He was lucky Gus listened to Gale about getting the best cook and saved Walt's life by taking out Tuco's cousins.
  • Etc
The plane crash was the weirdest. I believe that was caused by Jessie's Bad Luck or Walt's Good Luck as it was too strongly coincidental. The problem is, I don't have clear idea who the plane crash effected which of the two more. Or both equally got effect by it.

I count all of these these events as lucky as they were outside Walt's control but benefited him.

However, it was very noticeably gone when Hank died. Walt instead gain Bad Luck with Hank's death.

  • Walt's money got stolen
  • The car had no gas because of a bullet hitting the gas tank
  • Late to the house, he had no time to prepare to leave and lost his family. Even Holly.
  • He lost his authority over Saul.
The luck came one last time for the end.

  • Walks into the bar, calls his son but he couldn't reason with his son. He calls the police, letting them know it's over. He sits at the bar and what plays on tv as soon as he sits? His motivation for the final episode.
Like Jessie said "You guys are just guys. Mr. White, he's the Devil. You know he is. He is smarter than you. He is luckier than you. Whatever— whatever you think is going is suppose to happen... I'm telling you, the exact opposite of that is going to happen."

Does Walter White have Supernatural Luck and should it be added to his wiki?

I also believe Jessie has Bad luck to Walt's Good luck that keeps the story going up and down.

Absolutely not. Plot contrivance absolutely isn't a power.

Haven't watched it yet but I'm hoping that's more of an opinion than a fact, hot damn Breaking Bad was too good to be followed by mediocrity.

There were some good moments but it is very difficult to top that ending of Breaking Bad. It's just a closure of Jesse's story. It isn't like the peak of Breaking Bad but the fans would obviously like it. Could have been shorter though.

Yeah that's why I'm not too interested in it

Just feel the story is over, there's no need to go on (similar reason to why I've clocked out of the MCU a bit)

other verses being bad in CRTs doesn't justify butchering a work of art verse

Can't argue with the fact there were too many conveniences in Walt's favor for them to simply be written off as "Plot contrivance" when you have a main character (Jessie) who has been by Walt's side the entire show noting how lucky he is.
