Mind Control is still an option here, Makima would likely force her into a contract or command her to end itHaki negates biological alterations.
Hancock doesn't have to touch. She can just use her arrows. They also petrify.Makima wincons are mind control, bfr, bio hax and cosmo while boa wincon is touching makima once so I think mkm wins this
Wouldn't that count as an attack and be redirected to a random Japanese citizen?Hancock doesn't have to touch. She can just use her arrows. They also petrify.
I think 5 days isn't enough for millions of people thoughPretty sure Boa can just keep spamming until everyone in Japan is stoned, she can go for five days in a straight fight.
Maybe. They don't really physically exist and they do not hurt or harm. They just petrify the things they hit.Wouldn't that count as an attack and be redirected to a random Japanese citizen?
boa would need years and not just daysPretty sure Boa can just keep spamming until everyone in Japan is stoned, she can go for five days in a straight fight.
if her opponents considers it a attack then it gets transferredCan Makima transfer non-fatal effects? Because Hancock's petrification is non-fatal. You do not die after petrification. And it can be reversed by the user.
Makima wouldn't feel any emotion toward her so that's not really an optionNot sure if the passive Mero Mero is an attack, since it’s an effect that activated via having any sort of emotion of thinking Hancock is cute or sexy, but it working is still questionable for other reasons.
I agree with this, if the stone devil was an option against her contract I'm sure it would have been mentioned against herWould petrification even work? Makima resists Transmutation, and Public Safety– which has access to the Stone Devil– still didn't think she could be killed.
Not feeling emotion isn’t enough since it works on Pacifista.Makima wouldn't feel any emotion toward her so that's not really an option
Makima wouldn't feel any emotion toward her so that's not really an option
Makima doesn't feel any specific emotion to any human due to seeing herself above themNot feeling emotion isn’t enough since it works on Pacifista.
Middle Left Caption next to Panel: An ability that captivates and petrifies people regardless of age or gender! It can materialize thrown kisses and even launch physical attacks!
Bottom Caption next to Panel: The "Mero Mero Mellow" that captures the hearts of opponents and petrifies them. It is impossible for anyone other than the ability user to undo the petrification! (Databook Blue Deep).
^It depends on Boa's perception of the ability and how she uses it on the opponent, In this case she would be using Conqueror's Haki for the outcome of making Makima go lights out which means she perceives it as an attack
^To resist Makima's Conquest, a sudden burst of emotion is needed, although even then Makima can shut it down by giving another command (eg. "Down.")
ZabZab`s message was my reply to this btw (advertisements on mobile for this site suck so bad)Also doesn't Boa resist mindhax on Makima's level?
Feeling above someone is itself an emotion about them, also this is just straight up wrong.Makima doesn't feel any specific emotion to any human due to seeing herself above them
Makima only feels emotion towards Pochita, so I heavily doubt that she would feel any emotion toward Boa
Too bad it probably isn't gonna effect her in the first place. To resist Makima's Conquest, a sudden burst of emotion is needed, although even then Makima can shut it down by giving another command (eg. "Down.")
This does not at all address what I said.It depends on Boa's perception of the ability and how she uses it on the opponent, In this case she would be using Conqueror's Haki for the outcome of making Makima go lights out which means she perceives it as an attack
Makima in this scene was crying because of what the movie represented, the fact that since Makima was above everyone she met she would never be able to form an equal relationship with anyone. Which at the end of part 1 we found out her dream to be in an equal relationship with someoneFeeling above someone is itself an emotion about them, also this is just straight up wrong.
Whats stopping Makima's Mind manip from affecting BoaToo bad it probably isn't gonna effect her in the first place.
It goes over the fact that those abilities will just be transferred to a random Japanese citizenThis does not at all address what I said.
Thats true Makima only recognises people through her sense of smellim pretty sure denji says in chapter 97 that makima can't differenciate human faces from one another(just like yoru can't differenciate denji and pochita)
nvm she is the dogThats true Makima only recognises people through her sense of smell
nvm she is the dog
Boa has layered resistance to it.Whats stopping Makima's Mind manip from affecting Boa
Depends on the context but elaborateBoa has layered resistance to it.
Depends on the context but elaborate
- Almost every pageThrough sheer willpower they can resist losing their mind when absorbing shadows through the Kage Kage no Mi. Shadows belonging to strong willed people are difficult to control, allowing them to rebel against Moria's pact which usually immediately submits a shadow to his supremacy and orders. Spiritual energy is contained within one's soul/life; this energy is represented by the fighting power or the Haki itself.
In that case Makima either BFR's or uses the Cosmo's Fiends mind haxAnd Boa's haki (resistance) scales:
Baseline Resistance<Taishigi<Smoker<Vergo<Law~Hancock
Which is 4 layers.
Mind hax is resisted. In that case Makima either BFR's or uses the Cosmo's Fiends mind hax
