Bleach: Las Noches's size

Also, it always seemed to be a pressure problem considering that him releasing did not completely shatter the part of the dome he was standing on, and that dense enough reiatsu flows like liquid, gas as seen in the way it slipped into the palace through the hole he made when leaving.

Imo the "destroy Los Noches" statement is too vague. Destroy might mean blast holes in all the walls, or tear part of the roof down, etc.

But 1-3 all scale to Cero Oscuras in their Resurreccion so that'll probably be a pretty significant upgrade
Databooks reiterate on Gran Rey Cero, Cero Oscuras and the release of 1-4 being capable of destroying Las Noches entirely. I can get quotes and pics if needed. But even without it Yammy, Stark, Barraggan and Harribel would scale with their Cero Oscuras. 9-5 have Gran Rey Cero, but would never use In Character.

That's all well and good, but if there is decent support of that we should talk about it in a different thread. Before we are accused of derailing, preferably.

Speaking of different threads

Shouldn't someone make a thread or blog recalculating the things related to las noches with this given info now?

Cuz this is some heavy info

So, I went back to look at the Yammy fight, and the first shot of Yammy was taken when he was standing right in front of the central pillars(that thing behind him is a small part of their base) of Las Noches, but when he grows again against Kenpachi and Byakuya, I could not find another display of those same pillars.

They are not to Yammy's left, they are not behind Yammy , and they are not in front of Yammy, where Mayuri opened the Garganta.

I could only find limited shots of the area to Yammy's right(Mayuri, and Byakuya are facing Yammy) in the manga. The anime provided a somewhat better selection from episodes 288 and 289 but idk if the anime is accepted in cases like this.

The pillars in question arepretty big , and ru to and through the dome.

Late reply, was busy in the other Bleach thread. I'll go through the two pics found in UNMASKED Databook 3 for Bleach:

So all this in tandem with the statement about Gran Rey Cero, the release of Espada 4 and up and the feats of Cero Oscuras show these abilities are capable of destroying Las Noches.

Too vague? Aizen himself placed those restrictions for fear of Gran Rey Cero and the top 4 Espada destroying Las Noches. The destruction or at least devastation of Las Noches with a single Gran Rey Cero shot or with the release of the top four Espada was a genuine concern of the second most knowledgeable character in the series.

I would like to add that supporting evidence includes Ulquiorra blasting away a large chunk of the dome of Las Noches (like a quarter) and his Lanza del Relampago unleashing an explosion that dwarfed Las Noches itself (albeit Aizen hadn't seen the latter form). There is also the fact that characters around base Ulquiorra's level have showcased reiatsu feats going into the triple digit Megatons.

Actually, are we able to use them simply to find the point of relation between the center and a side, if we compare the maximun length of the pillars we've seen and the smallest? I feel like we should.

^That's actually a valid point. I don't think I've seen the material/density covered in any of the recent bleach calculations.

I don't think Gran Rey Cero should be considered. We've seen it used under the Canopy of Las Noches and it is FAR from destroying it.

I think it should be judged separately.

Well I don't believe we know the type of sand that makes up Hueco Mundo, though we will likely equate it to smooth wind-swept sand (most common desert sand, if I'm not mistaken) as opposed to coarse water-made sand (beaches). The former being unsuited to making building meterial, though theere seems to be a new method being fielded using smooth sand that makes material as strong as concrete.

And while the society of the soul worlds seems a few centuries behind ours at the least, the technology is be beyond our comprehension many times. so it looks safe to me to assume they are at least capable of everything we are.

@TheFinalOrder

While I'm leaning toward agreeing with you, I'm pretty sure Ichigo no-sold Grimmjow's,so we didn't get to see it actually hit the dome. Plus, I don't recall another under-the-dome use of the technique.

The thing with GRC is that only Grimmjow used it, IIRC, and he was in his base form. There's also the fact that Ichigo simply 'destroyed' it, so he may have dispersed the energy that GRC packed, but don't quote me on this I'm probably wrong ┬»\_(Òâä)_/┬»

No, you're right, thats what happened. Tier notes the effects of Gran Rey Cero distorting space and says Grimmjow shouldn't have done that.

Also, the 30 meter number for the columns refers only to the one Grimmjow destroyed, not the giant ones in the center of Las Noches, those are obviously bigger.

OK, I see. I agree with the dispersal of energy, but that would not change that the missile would scale to be superior due to greater effect on the same target, and we did see the missile's impact on the column. So if the missile only crumbled the column, and it's > GRC how would the GRC pop the dome?.

That said, iirc Grimmjow did not use the GRC once in his release state, so I'm not sure if that was really a full-power GRC.

Also, it's entirely possible that it is not the purely distructive capacity of the GRC that made Aizen ban it, but the effect of tearing holes in the veil between dimension. Aizen might have been worried that too many GRCs would weaken the stability of at least the dimensional area of Las Noches.

@IMade

30m thickness is for the column the cat popped?
Yes, the one he destroyed with his dart.

Also, I wouldn't say Dart > Gran Rey Cero. Ichigo seems to have used a mixture of offense and defense ro disperse the GRC. The activation of Bankai/Visored is a huge influx of Reiatsu.

Whether it could pop the dome would go back to Zap's point about the material of these things and differences in dnesity. It suggests the walls of las noches are fairly frail.

Alternatively it goes to validity of "destroy las noches" and that those powers (Espada release, CO, GRC) should not be taken literally and not into account for the AP.
