I doubt the Novelization of the Movie is canon. The original novels are canon though.

There are three authors for Memories of Nobody novel. Kubo Tite, Makoto Matsubara and Seiji Toshikawa.
Makoto Matsubara is the co-author of the canon We Do knot Always Love You and The Death Save the Strawberry novels. The recent snippet that determined the canon of novels was her interview.
I've never heard anything about this Toshikawa guy though.

Yeah, has Matthew has said, there is no translation online of it. I couldn't tell you the difference from the movie. Someone is gonna have to buy it and get it translated or translate themselves.
In the recent interview about the novels, Matsubara does mention the anime movie novels though in comparison to doing the novel for the live action movie.

I think his Bankai will appear in this novel. Right now Hisagi is fighting Aura, a Fullbringer under the employment of Tsunayashiro. He seems to be out of luck on this fight since he's nerfed due to Gintei Kaijo restricting him to a 5th of his full power. Then Aura's fullbring has some weird unexplained effect that makes Hisagi seem weaker and slower.
So if it doesn't pop up here, then maybe towards the end once the curtain falls and all the key players get together: Tsunyashiro, Hikone, Liltotto, Candice, Meninas, NaNaNa, Bambi, Giselle, Nel, Harribel, Grimmjow, Luppi, Urahara, Hisagi, Ginjo, Giriko and Tsukishima.
