I think we can use the 13 miles (21 km) from the manga which is the limit shown of Reiatsu killing Hollows, and they were far away from the center of Karakura Town skies were everyone was standing. That would make the town double the sizes. Gin's Bankai didn't manage to cut "all" the buildings neither did we see the Bankai go outside the town. 13 km cannot be use.

Since it was 13 miles East of the center of Karakura Town where everyone was standing in the air waiting for Aizen we can use it as a low-ball and double the size for the high-ball.

Honestly, that sounds more like a joke between two teenagers than an actual confirmation. Also, how old are they in the novel?

The Novel was confirmed in the Brave Souls Game announcement where Zero Squad, Sternritters and the Novel characters got confirmation to be in the game as well. The Novel tittle "Espada" will be related to Brave Souls Game and Kubo will be involved.

Now the following comment is speculation on my part, but it was confirmed not so long ago that The Espada were getting New Forms added to the game perhaps Kubo will focus on that storyline and Ichigo's new form.
