I couldn't ask for a lightning calculation from the sky (from another verse) because I wasn't good enough to deflect it (and I couldn't find someone who did that)

why can't we use the orginal JTTW for justifications?
Because the one who wrote JTTW didn’t approve or work in the game/verse

It’s completely separate story aswell, the novel tho should be useable to clear things up, as in what the text actually mean

wdym by this?

completely separate? it's literally a sequel to JTTW though... it starts after he retires from being the victorious fighting buddha...and don't get me started on the villains... oh yeah I almost forgot the chapter 6 animated cutscene, which depicts events which happened during JTTW.

I’m ngl he’s right in the sense that the game is intended to be a sequel to the book however that isn’t enough for its justification.

Also why would u want it to be the same as the book dyk how boring that makes scaling the game😭

It'd make all the other connected "supposed" other "Black Myth" games hilarious in scaling

Why? You can’t dodge it?
🐒 Monke can dodge everything.

Though in all seriousness, my friend said that in-game feats such as dodging and etc can’t be calc’d since it would be inconsistent (which I kinda agree with). We’ll have to use the scaling from mountain sized Wukong and Erlang. Oh and also Kang Jin Loong and Kang Jin Star are literal constellations.

Can we use narrative arguments for him being above the light speed bosses to get him to ftl? Those bosses are high tiers in the game tbh

Here's a calculation of The Duskveil moving the moon.
other than that I have some problems with the actual math itself, ya have the moon diameter as 3,475 km which ofc is fine and right however the math with that doesn't add up at all

3,475 km/783 * 677 = 3004.56577km

This doesn't even align with your very next bullet point that says he moved the moon 4,438.058 km and that number comes from completely out of no where and while yes it could be a lowball assumption its still not coming from any math present in the actual blog itself. Other than that I'll handle the recalc for ya since you don't even need to do the entire movement for this to be good at all so I'll do the math myself

Yee, just find the fastest speed it moved in a small time frame as otherwise the curvature and angle will mess up the accuracy of how much it actually moved in that timeframe 🐵

Oh yeah I got the pixel scaling wrong, fixed it already though so I don’t know why a recalc is needed.

because fixing the math alone doesn't fix the issues with this besides my recalc is already done and has yielding much higher

That pixel sailing method... 🤔 uhh if you put it besides the other video, doesn't that just give it extra pixels of movement? Or does it work because of the panning of the camera as it moves?
nah, I'm using the background as an alignment rather than using the foreground since the foreground has way more movement that the background which largely lines up with itself when overlapped when the perspective shifts a hell of alot more than what happens farther back. The portion in the purple circle is what's lined up
