Black Myth: Wukong General Discussion

As one of the supporters of original JJTW alongside @ActuallySpaceMan42 .

No, we tried this in the original JJTW itself using the Buddhist sutra and Taoist manuscript that are referenced within the story itself. And it was rejected.

We can only use it if its actually appear within the original novel, not the sutras or manuscript.
To be honest, I don't think just because it was rejected first means we should erase it's possibilities. All we need are stronger arguements to back it up. And rejecting the Buddhist Sutras is actually very weird because most of it are literally the same and the reason for most of the scalings in the verse. How can they be rejected the same thing that they're accepting?

The passage from the Buddhist Sutra. They must appear in the novel itself, not outside the novel. So Black Myth can scale the exact same passage that appear within the game itself, but not outside the game.

That literally our wiki rules for adaptation (and mythological story at that extent).
