They going to adapt Investiture of the Gods????

And with the Goat Jiang Ziya as protag?

PEAK

Also Wukong will definitely show up in the Black Myths: Jiang Ziya, since he appear in the original novel too.

That’s like another story set in the same world as JTTW right?

I’m not really familiar with this dude, what can bro do and what’s his tie with Wukong?

Wukong only appear a brief, he literally only a side character that fight Erlang offscreen lol.

Jiang Ziya is a Daoist that serve as a strategist to the kingdom of Zhou, he is also the main disciple of the Highest god of Daoism, Yuanshi Tianzun.

He created 365 gods by the help of Investiture of the Gods, a list that can make someone a gods by just written their names in. He also have a divine whip that can take someone soul.
He is destined to deify the souls of both humans and immortals who die in battle using the "List of Creation" (Fengshen bang, 封神榜), an index of preordained names agreed upon at the beginning of time by the leaders of the three religions. This list is housed in the "Terrace of Creation" (Fengshen tai, 封神臺), a reed pavilion in which the souls of the deceased are gathered to await their apotheosis. In the end, after defeating the Shang forces, Jiang deifies a total of 365 major gods, along with thousands of lesser gods, representing a wide range of domains, from holy mountains, weather, and plagues to constellations, the cyclical nature of time, and the five elements.

In the popular Ming-era novel Investiture of the Gods, Jiang Ziya is represented as a disciple of the Kunlun sect practicing Chan Taoism. Aside from fortune-telling, he is able to perform supernatural feats such as mounting clouds,[9] using his internal energy to breathe out a divine fire from his mouth,[10] releasing thunder[10] and lightning[11] at will, creating illusions to conceal the presence of an entire army,[12] and through the use of ritual and incantation, of summoning wind storms to carry away hundreds of refugees,[9] of bringing about snow in order to freeze the Shang army encamped in a mountain valley,[13] and of conjuring a barrier made of the water of the North Sea in order to protect the Zhou capital.[14]

He is ruthless with his enemies, usually executing captive generals from the Shang side, but is loyal to the Zhou cause. When outmatched by another wielder of supernatural powers, Zhao Gongming, he employs underhanded means on the advice of another thaumaturge named Lu Ya, employing a voodoo-like ritual involving building a straw effigy of his rival which is later shot at with arrows, leading to Zhao's death.
Lü Shang was from Jizhou.
Born with inherent wisdom, he could foresee life and death.

I need to reread the novel instead of relying to the wikipedia.

How consistent is the game with the novels? I haven't played it yet (I ain't got that type of cash, especially since it's literally 7000 in my country).

Oh yeah we could go up to relativistic if we use the narrative scaling, since there’s a daoist that can dodge a barrage of light beams and frogs that can dodge lightning with ease.

Doesn't work like that, we'd need to see actual feats as we aren't able to just slap ratings on shit without proper calcs and we need to see if its another Wise-Voice situation cause it could be fraud.

Yea I said we could, not that I outright agree with them being MHS+/Rel.

It's the opposite, we can't scale them there without proper calcs whether we agree if they could potentially scale up there or not is another matter. I believe they could too and if they have the proper feats calculated obviously that's even better but as of rn the best we have is MHS+

Eh it’s already good enough, and since we’ll be getting more content soon enough, I’d reckon a universal rating and insane speeds.

Big strong monke 🐒

Can someone get a shot of the full base of the tornado in chapter 2 I've got the full height shot but I need like an actual ground shot to measure the base from

Anyone thinks they could do a game around Nezha and perhaps Erlang Shen?

Jiang Ziya sounds as badass as Wukong.

Curious what they could do with him.
