Surtur one-shotted someone much stronger than At least High 6-C (163 gigatons) while Karathen is about 349 gigatons
I believe Surtur holds the AP advantage due to his scaling chain
He also outlifts due to scaling massively above a Class T value above baseline, meanwhile Karathen is only baseline Class T
Alongside his dexterity advantage and his extreme heat, Surtur should be able to take down Karathen without much difficulty

Yeah lol plus Surtur isn't like a flailing beast the dude had thousands of years of combat experience seemingly and did at least survive doing battle with Odin albeit almost actually dying in the process

Would the Stat Gap also be slowly lessened due to Surtur passively growing stronger during the fight, since the initial 800m tall Surtur was the one that One-Shot Hela?
