Gottcha. I am guessing byakuya would be upgraded to 4A as well.Here’s why Askin doesn’t scale to Kisuke in the manga anyway.
Askin straight up states that Kisuke’s physicals are nerfed in the gift ball deluxe. Kisuke even agrees with that notion, he says despite being in his Bankai state he isn’t at full physical capacity. We see this to be true when he drops to his knees unable to move at the end of the fight. Furthermore, the entire reason Askin uses gift ring, as he says, is because Kisuke was too dangerous to fight in a physical contest. Not only is Kisuke too smart to be tricked, he’s too strong normally to be contested head on for Askin. So, no, Askin does not scale to KisukeKisuke likens his nerf to being “barely able to crawl”. It’s just beyond self evident that he’s massively nerfed. You would have to prove that Kisuke is relative to his full power, or else we just have no grounds to arbitrarily say Vollstandig Askin is at that level.
Now the anime could change this, hence why we’re waiting on the anime.

If the anime changes his scaling then yeah. As it stands, damaging a Gerard who had all his properties negated by Toshiro (which would include the Reiryoku enhanced durability), doesn’t warrant scaling

There should be a way to navigate directly between the Bleach and Burn the Witch pages. The two series should be more closely connected on the wiki, like Fire Force and Soul Eater, but done better.

Hello this thread has basically just devolved into arguring if somthing kai has that one shots ghosts would do that here and if quinices would be treated like ghosts for this purpose. You actually can make this argument at least in regards to speed anyway due to the spatial manipulation aspect. The power buff yes, but to a less clear extent.

Anyone in the soul society is a soul tho, this doesn't make any sense. The argument for the others is that is there is no proof they had physical bodies and they were born in the soul society so I understand that but this doesn't apply to uryu.

Isn't it because of kenpachi being stronger than gremmy and gerard beat shikai kenpachi without eye patch? If that's the case, I can see why the elite squad aren't 4-A and most captains don't scale to toshiro, unohano and kenpachi then.
