Askin straight up states that Kisuke’s physicals are nerfed in the gift ball deluxe. Kisuke even agrees with that notion, he says despite being in his Bankai state he isn’t at full physical capacity. We see this to be true when he drops to his knees unable to move at the end of the fight. Furthermore, the entire reason Askin uses gift ring, as he says, is because Kisuke was too dangerous to fight in a physical contest. Not only is Kisuke too smart to be tricked, he’s too strong normally to be contested head on for Askin. So, no, Askin does not scale to Kisuke
Now the anime could change this, hence why we’re waiting on the anime.
If the anime changes his scaling then yeah. As it stands, damaging a Gerard who had all his properties negated by Toshiro (which would include the Reiryoku enhanced durability), doesn’t warrant scaling

Isn't it because of kenpachi being stronger than gremmy and gerard beat shikai kenpachi without eye patch? If that's the case, I can see why the elite squad aren't 4-A and most captains don't scale to toshiro, unohano and kenpachi then.
