Or you could just make Uryu's arrow last long enough visually for Ichigo to kill him. The ending wasn't bad, it just needed more set up.
 
Part of me was hoping this episode would include more versatility from Ichigo.

I absolutely enjoyed the extended fight with how he easily dominated 4 Vollstandig Sternritter. However, I had always believed that if Kubo ever had a perfect opportunity to show Ichigo with new abilities like Kido then this would've been that moment.

Like how sick would've it been if Ichigo started using Hado or even Secret Hado here to demonstrate his training with Ichibei?
 
Has anyone noticed that all dark reiatsu/reishi have abilities involving concept? As nodt, ichibei and mimihagi? maybe ichigo incorporating GT himself. Or is that just my imagination.

I'm not sure you can argue there not being any source to contradict your nonexistent source. 🤭
Just take the L, your "source" was a fraud.
Not even Jaymes or that bum (leaker) Oecuf and his goons had any info like that, which would honestly require a direct connection to someone like Hiramatsu, Taguchi, Tominaga, or even Kubo, LOL, who are some of the very few people with general knowledge about the script and storyboards of every single ep each cour.
That's not the type of info a freelance animator would ever be able to give, nor even inhouse animators or animation directors, ep directors, etc. (as these are moreso in the know on their own episodes and little else).

I liked it because Chad did more than he did in the manga, although not much.
 
I think kubo meant to give ichigo a scrift because if you think about he gave ichigo a fullbring ability and a soul reaper ability
