BAN-KAI! Bleach General Discussion

520: Has Driscoll's The Overkill allowed him to become stronger via his kill-count from the time he first got his Schrift? Or does the buff wear off after the battle has ended?

Kubo: The buffs go away from eating, sleeping, and fainting.

Mega Dissapointed that he can't do funny stack memes cause the idea of Driscoll killing a bunch of Soul Reapers offscreen and showing up towards the end of the Second Invasion as this Stack god would have been really funny.
Probably one of the worst Schrifts since it's like a way worse version of the Superstar which already is Budget Miracle.

It’s actually perfectly useful cuz it means that the Driscoll that defeated Sasakibe was about as strong as the one that defeated Hisagi. Which enables us to establish some kind of relativity between the lieutenants which can support the notion of lieutenant level characters being around a similar level of strength, barring notable exceptions.

That's so weird lmao

So it's just temporary amps huh

Guess it makes sense though, otherwise he would probably be an elite by now with the amount of kills he could amass even from killing allies

Idk bout y’all but I always assumed it was a temporary amp kinda deal, else it’d be a bit broken if he could just farm kills for 1000 years.

Ninja’d I’ve been it seems

Probably use an excuse like "Yhwach doesn't like violence" and then ignore the fact this mans be cutting through Soldats on a daily lmao

Almost like that’s an intentional contradiction that someone who hates conflict so much can only persist through that conflict, as if he does not continue to absorb the souls of those connected to him he will perish 🗿

preaty sure he had killed a lot of people by the time he was going after hisagi

Even a soldat potentially beat espada by themselves
Old and past hollow like Baragan are still strong lore wise, a soldat ain’t do shit lol, so top 2 espada are still decently relevant for TYBWA standards, Starrk was against 4 captains tier character, not even sternritters get that treatment

Not counting yammy because he is slow AF due to size compared to others so you can beat him with damage over time
