Something that I apparently glossed over in the SAFWY novel is that in actuality not only Resurreccion Cien, but base Cien at 60% of his original power alone is stated to be stronger than Resurreccion Yammy by Mayuri after he analyzed some data about Cien's Reiatsu.
This just makes the gap between base Aizen and the Espada even bigger.

No lol funny enough I believe vsb uses that as a reason He's LS. The databook stated it was due to the power of his kick not speed plus bending space to that degree isn't LS. That's like saying GRC is light speed because it visible distorted space with it's power.

It's called length contraction. When a object the size of a human for example reaches the speed of light it's length contraction/space distortion becomes very noticeable.

Length contraction is not manipulating spacetime, it has to do with the moving objects length in a particular frame. Seeing space war affects near a character has nothing to do with it.
