BAN-KAI! Bleach General Discussion

I'm really nervous right now, the person who just responded to me just reiterated the same arguments he initially presented. Do these guys know anything other than repeating themselves?

Moreover, yes, yhwach stated that he saw this with his own eyes in his last moments. shit, before someone actually responds, they should be read the anti-arguments presented to them

Man the ****?
Votes were 3:1 match was over
Literally no reason to close it, grace was reached
We have already responded to all the arguments presented by people defending Zeref, they argued that Zeref would win against Aizen simply because of their own beliefs

U got proof of food luck affecting a passive on Aizen's tier?
I have proof of Food Luck preventing passive abilities from damaging Midora, which is the important question of this conversation.

The actual abilities themselves aren't important because Food Luck just makes it so none of them actually interact with Midora.

If he can just make it so none of the effects actually affect him, then the quality of said abilities is unimportant.

There's still a difference between passives, and no passive ability in toriko is anywhere near soul crush, not to mention that soul crush is layered which you'd need proof for as well

soul crush being layered needs to be evaluated in this thread

because it hasn't been evaluated yet, i'll assume they have 0 layers đź’€

The ability being layered, or more potent than anything in Toriko isn't an argument against my claim because I'm asserting that Food Luck just makes it so none of the effects of Aizen's Reiatsu actually interacts with his form. The onus is on you to prove that an ability being more potent allows you to make attacks which aren't supposed to interact with someone, actually interact with them.

I think you're just misunderstanding what Food Luck actually is. It's just insane Supernatural Luck that causes things like attacks to dodge the user completely, even if said attacks have actually made contact with the user's body spatially.

I know what food luck is, where's the instance of midora negating passive abilities though?
Could be wrong, haven't read toriko in years
I don't remember that being the case, and food luck differs in potency, one character has way better food luck than others.

Kinda need to see what the passive is first, and if it's actually Midora negating it because the examples of food luck on his profile ain't gonna cut it

We have instances of Food Luck allowing users to bypass attacks which have already "hit them" spatially, such as Joie's Satan Hole. This is effectively what passive abilities are to an extreme extent (since most "passive" abilities still require an x amount of movement in space to affect their opponent.) So yes, we have evidence of Midora bypassing such abilities

It differs from person to person, but all the feats I'm talking about are from either Midora himself, or those with lesser/equal Food Luck with him.

That's not truly a passive, it's still an active attack, soul crush is a constant ailment that affects the target, he'd need proof of him bypassing a passive that's affecting him constantly, not just an instance of a passive effect from a single attack.

Kinda NLF territory

He isn't dodging its activity, he's dodging its effect. Soul Crush can remain a constant ability, still doesn't matter because he's bypassing its effect. The onus is on you to prove that Food Luck requires a constant activation to dodge attacks.

You proved that he was able to dodge the effect of a single attack, this doesn't prove it'd work on soul crush, at best he'd be able to bypass it for a moment in the beginning.

Soul crush causes him to be constantly bombarded by pressure, it's a constant cause and effect.
Do you have any proof of his food luck being capable of completely bypassing an actual passive like soul crush, or anything that has a constant cause & effect on his body?

The burden of proof isn't on me here, it's on you what you've provided me with isn't enough to prove food luck would bypass soul crush, as he only bypassed the effect of a single attack

It has worked upon constant effects, like Joie's germs which constantly corrode away the affected person. This doesn't matter however because you're misunderstanding a fundamental aspect about the ability. It doesn't work by activation like you're arguing that it does. It works by having an insane amount of Supernatural Luck that it causes attacks to just miss the user completely, even if said attacks have already made contact with, and have affected the user spatially. It does this by bypassing the effect of said ability, not the ability itself. I'm not obligated to prove a claim false when said claim isn't actually addressing my argument.

We can continue this debate in the actual thread itself. But you're just misunderstanding the ability completely.

Anyone has any interested in a dark world (GoT) with wizards (HP) in another world (TCON) fighting angels and demons (MI) in an anime kind of style for power scaling and fights? (DBZ, Bleach)

Why don’t we have Christian magic and mythology gods in this wiki? But people disrespecting other religions by putting their Gods here? Like, who decided which is the real one? Like if there was a real one there would only be one religion on the planet and not many.
