Bakugan Revision Thread

So again it's Fate Manipulation that's also able to drop a Bakugan's power down, eh?

Hmm...then again, i kind of power if it's something else like Probability manipulation or something. Well not sure of that really but also, how would one assume this can work on other....non Bakugan beings?

Well, like Pokemon, Bakugan are essentially aliens and monsters of many different forms. Some even practically deities. It should work on "non" Bakugan beings. Not to mention, Naga and Wavern originally never belonged to any attribute, for them being White Ones and they're still classified as Bakugan.

Also the whole ability works by having the dye land on your element/attribute and if it lands, the your power goes down to complete 0 without any abilities (techniques basically) being able to stop it. It shouldnt be probability manipulation because the probability of your element being what the dye lands on doesnt chancge (well at least thats what im regetting from rewatching S3 so far). It stays at 1/6th chance the whole time. It's more Fate or Destiny Manipulation because of the fact that, if it lands on the element you bear, there's nothing you can do to stop your power from dropping to totally nothing (unless you have resistance or immunity to it). Dan got lucky with being forced to use a Gate Card in order to stop it and it depends on what we would classify Gate Cards. They're not the same as abilitiy cards.

Also I just remembered this:

The gate card that Dan used to save Drago from the Doom Cube ability (the ability we're discussing now) was Ring Zero, a command card that specifically freezes all of your opponents activated abilities.

Judging from this, it seems the Gate Card didnt actually resist and stop the effects of the Doom Cube, but rather went beyond that and froze the ability itself, not actually destroy it. In other words, it basically seems to have just placed the whole ability in a standstill while the Gate Card was active.

Whether or not a Gate Card can negate the whole ability (not just freeze its effects) doesnt really matter in this case I just felt like it should be addressed in case anyone found this NLFish. Just trying to explain the Gate Card really didnt defeat the ability, just haulted it.

Found another hax ability for Bakugan. And possibly for Drago when having all Bakugan DNA codes. It occurs in Gundalain Invaders episode 13

Dan and Drago battle against one of the Gundalian brawlers called Zenet and her partner Haos Contestear. Zenet tried to steal Drago as at that Point Drago had received the element from Zeo, something very important to Barodius as he wanted it to conqour the universe (but thats a diff debate). To try and steal Drago, Zenet was able to transform her entire being into Julie, that copied everything from Julie such as her hair and physical appearance right down to her voice....the only thing she obviously couldnt replicate was her personality but other than that, this can call for a type of transformation hax, following it up with stuff like Vocal Manipulation for Zenet. Also likely gene manipulation since Zenet refered to this as "her new skin." But that's not the real hax I wanted to mention here.

Later on when Zenet and Dan brawl, Zenet uses an ability for Contestear that can transform into any Bakugan, even ones who arent apart of the battle like Cordum. And she copies them perfectly even based off memory. Using this ability she had Contestear transform into Drago and took on a stringkly similar appearance. Not only that, but the real notable part of this is that Contestear while transfomed as Drago could replicate all of Drago's abilities, with even greater power behind them. Dan was forced to use Drago's battle gear as a key to defeat them since Contestear and Zenet couldnt copy battle gear.

So this would mean this hax should be a type of Copy ability or Replication hax. Anyone have problems with this?

Alright good to hear. Now the only issue with it left is to what extent is it useable in a vs battle?

I can already see ppl seeing this hax as an NLF.

Im not sure how notable this is but it should be noted since it was a serious threat to the brawlers:

I think we should also allow Titanium Drago to have a sort of mind manipulation or instict manipulation hax. The reason why is because when Phabia showed Dan and the others the Sacred Orb, she explained that the orb possessed the DNA code's of every single bakugan in existence. And that if Barodius was able to get his hands on the orb, out of all the things he could do it with it, one of them would be to control all Balugan in existence since their DNA codes are stored within the orb.

This could be a mind hax, willpower hax or something but I thought it should be up to consideration since Titanium Drago has the sacred orbs power.

Considering it has to do with Bakugan DNA, would that have something to do with Genetics and how they are manipulated...?

If anything, it will probably be Mind Hax.

That reminds me

Should we also make some profiles for S3 Brawlers like Ren Crawler, Jake Valorie and Princess Phabia? Well at least Ren and his Darkus Lienhalt? I know at times they have been able to fight on equal ground against Dan and Drago, plus Lienhalt has forbidden powers that he didnt showcase until later on in the season. When he finally did, he released so much energy that he not only made an explosion viewable from space, but he was also going to tear the entire planet of Neitha in half....and he did all this just by releasing his power.

This was such a huge threat it even required the Sacred Orb to summon up Dragonoid Colosisis to come out and stop Lienhalt itself.

That seems really significant lol

Yeah, it would be best if we make profiles for them too

Tearing the planet in half could be huge. Every calc I've seen of it (including my own) is like Large Planet to Dwarf Star.

@Anime4: At one time, Dark had a calc of his that he did that got Dwarf Star level results (High 5-A, if you may). Though he did change it to about 5-A due to some things, it is possible for being High 5-A by tearing a planet apart.....i think. TBF (to be fair) on my part, i don't recall seeing many calcs of what Darkanine said. But i trust his word enough on that...

^ I have one I haven't uploaded yet that got 80-100 Ninatons. I should get on that..

Anyway, is there a depiction of splitting the Earth in half or is it just a statement?

Well drago was the one who said so and IIRC the computer systems at Neitha's castle supported that claim too when reading the energy reading.

At the very least, we should say Likely High 5-A considering not only was the explosion very seeable from outer space, but the Sacred Orb reacted to it and sent its guardian protector of it and Neitha, Dragonoid Colosis, out to personally stop Lienhalt's explosion himself. If it wasnt the real deal neither would have batted an eye towards Lienhalt.

Found some new info

In the episode where Dan, Drago, Barodius and Dharak meet with Code Eve, she reveals that, during Drago and Dharak's first enocunter, there was a very strong possibilty that those 2 were going to separate the dimensions into 2 parts again, just like what the original Dragonoid and Dharaknoid did in the past.

So this basically confirms that Lumino Drago and Dharak were on the level of their 2 ancestors....

So that's at least high 3-A power for them right there.

Anyone agree or disagree?

Alright. Going to start rewatching Mechtanium Surge either hopefully tonight or tomorrow.

Hopefully it wont be as shitty as i remember it to be......:(

Well we got up to Mechtanium Surge, the worst Bakugan season ever.....so its no surprise that no one would really want to rewatch it as much tbh.....

Yea. In the meantime, while we're on break searching for feats, for the one's we've agreed on so far should we start creating more profiles for the Bakugan and/or edit some already existing ones so they can at least get proper solid tiers and get out of the "unknown" range.

@Anime We could edit some already existed profiles to make sure the tiers are correct.
I dont know...

I mean im perfectly fine with doing that its just that I dont wanna do something without the others consent that might go against the rules or something. Unless you feel its totally safe for us to just do it on our own?

@Anime If that is the case, ask the mods for this or you can look for feats that will help with the stats.
For the feats we already have them listed on both revision threads (a few even calced) so it should be no problem as of now for at least Drago and Helios

As for the mods, where do I go to ask them? Unless do u mind asking?

@Anime What about the other Bakugans? In any case we create new profiles and edit old ones while we have the time for it.

To keep things alive, how about this for Drago's other forms-

Base Drago: At least City Block Level (via sheer size, can match other, larger Bakugan in this form), SoL combat speed

Delta: Unknown (casually stomped three of the World's strongest Bakugan), FTL combat speed (Could easily keep up wth Tentaclear)

Ultimate Drago: Possibly Country Level (Alpha Hydranoid is his equal, and Hydranoid utterly obliterated Hades, who kept up with the Country Level Neo Drago) At least FTL combat speed

Neo Drago: Country Level (Could create a massive explosion from space the size of roughly a country), at least FTL combat speed

Cross Dragonoid: At least Country Level, likely far higher (Managed to beat Maxus Helios MK2 without the need of Cyborg Bakugan), FTL+ Combat Speed

Helix Dragonoid: Unknown (Just after attaining this form, he could give off such intense energy that he punched through one universe and into another), MFTL+ (Calc was done for this exact attack)

Lumino Dragonoid: Stronger then Helix Drago, should also be faster

Blitz: Even STRONGER then Lumino, should also be faster

Titanium: Even stronger and faster then before...

Fusion Drago: Strongest form aside from Infinity Drago and Perfect Drago

Infinity Drago: Universe Level (Comparable to Naga), MFTL+ Combat speed

Perfect Drago: Universe Level, likely higher (Is easily twice as strong as before, merely taking this form corrected the positions and states of two completely separate universes), MFTL+, possibly Omnipresent (Could see everything in New Vestroia and be anywhere he pleased)

How does any of this sound?
