Bakugan General Discussion Thread

My username (the Masque part) is a reference to Bakugan. I haven't watched the series since I was little, is the old series continuing or no? If it is, I'd probably rewatch it and join the scaling community. (Although I plan on doing so anyway at a later date.)

No it ended a long time ago. As far as I'm aware there's currently only a really awful reboot of the show running

The 1st Bakugan generation ended in 2013. The 2nd Bakugan Generation started in 2019. The 3rd Bakugan Generation started at the end of 2023. As you can see, these guys reset and remake Bakugan every 4 seasons. The old Bakugan disappears in each generation. According to information published by the official page on Twitter, the Leonidas character in Bakugan Vestoria Champions (the 2nd Generation game) is the same person as Leonidas in the first generation game. He traveled between universes and switched to this universe. What's even weirder is that this character can't open a portal. He went from one Bakugan universe to another Bakugan universe without opening a portal.

Not as far as I'm aware and I feel like an in-universe revision might be necessary.

Because rn we're scaling EVERY random bakugan since NV to top dogs like Infinity Drago which seems silly (although I don't remember 99% of the series so idk) given they were all like tier 7 beforehand

Vexos Dragonoid is stronger than the 6 Ancient Warriors. Even Exedra says it's impossible for his power. Oberus says Drago doesn't fear God in the Japanese dub. He knocks Apollonir down. He is stronger than his Neo Dragonoid form. Spectra sees him as stronger than Helios. Neo Vexos Drago is probably weaker than Neo Drago v2. Because Neo Drago v2 is scaled to Cyborg Helios.

I have an idea to update their physical ap tier and hax tier. Delta Drago and Dual Hydra can drop from tier 2-C. Dual Hydra scales to Exedra but there is no evidence that Exedra fought him with all his strength. Exedra is a merciful person even though he represents Darkness. If you remember, he came up with the idea of testing the Brawlers to get them out of the Doom Dimension. Season 2 Exedra scales to Base Farbros and Base Farbros is much stronger than Alpha Hydranoid, let alone Dual Hydra. Exedra hits Hydra in this scene but he may not hit a High 7-C character like Hydra with 2-C strength. We can say that Hydra defeated Exedra with stat manipulation. When Masquerade destroyed Centipoid, the Bakugan he absorbed power from, Exedra experienced a 400G power drop. Hydra gained power with an ability card. That's my opinion. Dual Hydra is Physically High 7-C, 2-C with Stat Manipulation.



Exedra's statement that his poor abilities don't work on me seems to support what I said.



Delta Drago defeats Apollonir with a mental buff. Apollonir says the bond between humans and Bakugan is very strong. I don't know if it says so in the original Japanese dub, but if we accept this as true, the character goes from High 7-C to 2-C with a mental buff, and according to his own series' power ranking, he is weaker than Dual Hydranoid, but he goes up to the level of Vexos Dragonoid.



Ultimate Drago and Alpha Hydranoid are definitely 2-C. Both physically and in terms of ability. Because a character with a power reading like Masquerade says that Hydra can beat Wavern this time. Ultimate Drago can kill Wavern. Even the weakened version of Alpha Hydranoid in season 2 can defeat Hades and scales to 2-C Bakugan like Hades, Neo Dragonoid, Ingram.

Neo Dragonoid v2 is as strong as Perfect Core according to Apollonir. Perfect Core is the power that allowed Drago to perform 2-C feat in the season 1 finale.



Also, I think Base Drago should be Physical 4-B, Environmental Destruction and 2-C, not High 7-C. Tentaclear has a feat of lighting up the Pocket dimension, which is as big as Vestroia, but LordGriffin said it doesn't seem to light up the whole dimension here. 2-C Environmental Destruction also comes from destroying the match field in episode 2. It destroys the match field, but it doesn't count as defeating Reaper, the match ends in a draw. This shows that it is not for dealing damage but for destroying the area.



There is also 3-C scaling. It is said that Tigrerra's sword can cut everything in the human universe. We can say that Tigrerra can cut the galaxy and get 3-C. Since the character will be 2-C in her next form, there is no logical error or exaggeration. Bakugan such as Hydra, Skyress, Preyas, Drago, Tentaclear are also scaled to Tigrerra.

Maybe Delta Drago and those scaled to it could have physical Ap's of 7-B. They have feats of piercing and destroying clouds. At worst, we calculate the size of the meteor it created.

If you also accept the mental buff, there is no reason not to accept Titanium Dragonoid's star level LS feat.

We already discussed this with MonkeyDunno. He thought that the character could not have been nerfed a billion times. If you ask me, even if you do not accept the mental buff/nerf, Titanium Drago should be physically Star level, Perfect Core and Immeasurable Lifting Strength.

I wanted to make the profiles a little shorter. Also, it would be hard to edit 100 profiles every time something new is added or removed. There are still profiles where I haven't added Class M LS :(

Drago doesn't seem to have any win con. Mori Dan scales to 10 uni and has layered PN. Even if I upgrade Drago's LS to star level and give him resistance to being erased from existence, he still can't seem to beat him.

Yk what I kidna hated as a kid? That Maxus Dragonoid stopped being used after New Vestroia. Little me used to absolutely love that form
 
Has anyone watched Bakugan Battle Planet or the new Bakugan Gen 3? I'm thinking of scaling them. There's very little scaling left from our original series...
 
The only problem would be a translation error. We'll see in time. If not, I'll bring the Bakugan=Marvel argument to light. 😏

In 2011, toys called Bakugan vs Marvel were released and these are canon.

The only problem with this argument is whether they'll consider releasing Thor's toy... I don't think there are any tier 1 characters in the toy releases. I don't know about Marvel.

The bigger issue is that it puts Drago on Wolverines level who's 8-C to 3-A. Which actually downgrades Drago

The Bakugan toys are made by Spin Master. Spin Master also owns the rights to the series. This toy event in 2011 was also made by Spin Master. The reason I think the toys are canon is because in the original Japanese episodes, the toys are introduced before and after the episode starts. When I say before and after, I mean before the opening starts and after the ending. Similarly, toys were needed to play the game Bakugan Dimensions and they are canon in the game.

I thought of measuring them all based on Thor, but as I wrote above, they thought of releasing Thor's toy, but they gave up. There is a Tier 1 Iron Man, but I guess he is not Tier 1 in the form in the picture.

Actually, this would be an upgrade for more Marvel characters. We can open a separate profile called Bakugan vs Marvel and make a 2-C Wolverine.
 
Alright what key for drago do I make him fight a Character who's 1.119186e+12 times into 6 universes who's practical haxless
