Another SAO CRT: Reality Warping Shenanigans

Incarnation

Incarnatio: A secret skill passed down by Integrity Knights since ancient times, and one of the most important concepts in the Sword Art Online franchise. Incarnation refers to the ability to change the state of the world through pure willpower and imagination. This mainly includes creation, alteration, and destruction. It is the power which Sacred Arts derive from. Its effects are versatile, as the power has been used to wield invisible blades, create swords from the user's blood, transmute objects, increase the chances of an event happening, and much more. However, the power of an Incarnation ability can be matched by another Incarnation ability, and the use of Incarnation is mentally exhausting, requiring a lot of concentration and energy to perform. If the user is in a state where their will is not strong enough, they become unable to use Incarnation. There are a limited amount of people who can use Incarnation to its full potential, and much practice and experience is needed to be able to use it.

Limited Reality Warping (via Incarnation. Allows the user to change the world to an extent via their willpower or imagination. For those who are not conscious or adept with this ability, it is primarily used to increase the chances of winning a fight against stronger opponents or create miracles not possible with standard Sacred Arts. For Kirito, it allows him to increase the range of his attacks, transform into his SAO Avatar, and create giant black wings to fly. All beings in the Underworld are capable of Incarnation, however only those who recognize this ability can consciously use it to their advantage)
Basically, Limited Reality Warping and Probability Manipulation.

The Actual CRT
Apparently, a statement from Volume 18 confirms Incarnation exists in other VR worlds, so Kirito resisting death in Aincrad was actually Kirito using Incarnation.

Similarly, Underworld was not just any societal development

simulation.

Both represented the beginning of an epic paradigm shift.

A different reality — one would inspire change in a world heading

ever closer towards a closed future. A world that realized the will

of young people fighting to break free of the established system

into an invisible power: An Incarnating Radius.

—That's your goal, isn't it, Akihiko-san?

That's what you noticed and discovered during your two years i

that floating castle — their infinite potential, and the dazzling,

blinding light of their spirits.

(Sword Art Online - Volume 18, 208)

...Kayaba says this a lot. (Ordinal Scale)

Basically, Kayaba, when referring to "a power that goes beyond the system itself", is talking about Incarnation. This means all virtual worlds have Incarnation, and anybody can use it as long as they are aware of the ability.

Meaning Kirito resisting death wasn't plot armor, but was him using Incarnation.

This also means all other SAO characters have Incarnation in every single one of their keys.

So, not too big of an upgrade. Just an ability addition.

Wew every single SAO VR character will have reality warping now?

Oh boi.

That's neat, I guess, but seems legit.

Also there goes like, literally every vs thread on the profiles.

Tbf characters before Alicization never knew how to use Incarnation, and Kirito and Asuna only were able to use it in times of extreme emotion.

Now though post-Alicization they can use it pretty well, however only with their avatars after Alicization (which is only ALfheim and GGO right now since that's the only two they have access to).

Sooo... this is kind of a small add, but bump just incase this actually needs debating.

Also Middle and End of Alicization Kirito should be separated, because Kirito only has the Night Sky Sword in his MoA key. EoA key should have both Night Sky and Blue Rose Swords (He used the Blue Rose Sword in the final battle with Quinella, but it never became part of his standard equipment till the end of Alicization).

Aite, it's a p small change honestly to separate the keys, so I'll do that right now.

"Also, anyone who knows Outside System Skills should be able to use them in real life as well, since they're literally just things that are humanly possible (in the SAO universe anyways). They're things that aren't assisted by the system at all, so they should be possible to do in real life.

Switch also needs to be counted as an Outside System Skill. It'd be something along the lines of "Players switch positions in-between an enemy's attack to recover Hit Points, chain attacks together, and/or burden the learning abilities of AI-controlled monsters."

One last thing, there's two more Outside System Skills that aren't listed: Instinct (Which is predicting a person or AI's next attack from long range/out of combat) and, what's the most interesting to me, Precognition (Predicting the next attack from close range/in combat).

What would these two constitute as? Because the Sharingan is basically just glorified Enhanced Senses, but it's considered Precognition, soo..."

Switch is already added. All that's left is Instinct, Precognition, and Outside System Skills being useable in real life.

These are also in the SAO wiki.

I've gone through the scans and deduced that the SAO wiki is absolute crap.

Or at least spreading some misinformation.

Precognition isn't actually precognition, as shown here:

there's the ┬½precognition┬╗ that comes with the position of the sword and the avatar's center of gravity, the ┬½insight┬╗ that can predict the attack patterns of monsters from long range and through the attack pattern, the ┬½Distinguish┬╗ that allows players distinguish the enemy's sound effects from the background sound and find them, the ┬½mislead┬╗ to lure the AI monsters' learning capacity and give it a heavy burden, the ┬½switch┬╗ that allows multiple players to switch positions and allow them to recover their HP. And amongst these skills that weren't listed in the ability column, the hardest skill to get, and even treated as a supernatural one was the ┬½presence sense┬╗—also called ┬½Hypersense┬╗.

So we can discard precognition actually being precognition, though it'd still be nice to add on everyone's profiles who can use Outside System Skills.

Okay. I suppose that should probably be fine then.
