Being able to blow up Namek ≠ An explosion that blew up Namek, all of its surrounding stars, and was even visible from a bird's eye view of the Galaxy
We see that Vegeta's attack detonation is indeed a fair bit bigger than Namek (And Namek is like x40 the size of the Sun), but I don't think it's really calculable.
