All Purpose Dragon Ball Thread

Any new news circling about Dragon ball besides Daima stuff?
New Superhero Chapter stuff Toyo is gonna release this year.

There’s two big Toei film projects in production, and given the way the fiscal years have gone, most people in the industry state it’s likely One Piece and Dragon Ball.

Outside of that it’s just DLC for already existing games (Future Saga for XV2, Daima for everything, etc.) or normal gacha game stuff.

That’s as much as I know currently.

I hope they announce what we're getting for Sparking Zero's first big DLC pack. So far all we know is that it includes the Gammas so other Superhero stuff like Beast Gohan and Orange Piccolo are likely locked in.

And hey maybe some new content for Vegeta's story mode because why tf does it end at the Buu Saga?

The count before Bardock vs Omni-Man would be 7-7 (8-8 counting Gogeta vs Vegito), that isn't "almost all losses" as you said. Even if we counted Vegeta vs Mewtwo as an actual episode (It's a blatent shitpost) it wouldn't even be a loss, Vegeta and Mewtwo blow up a building then get a bear, at worst it'd be a tie.
Huh. I must've counted Vegeta VS Mewtwo to that list.

Honestly it's probably gonna be discontinued before then. Sparking Zero legit barely even has 4 digits of concurrent players on at any time anymore.

As far as I know, the greatest feat of the verse is Antares shaking a dimension with a scream, I don't know anything about his son onwards
He has a very interesting feat, of creating an infinite dimension, covering the entire planet with his dominoes and monarchs scale directly to the absolute beings who created countless Universes and the Sung scales directly

There's never any in-between like ever, DB is either the most artistically talented fandom ever or they make brain rot

I remember getting 2 videos in my recommended side by side, one was that kickass fan animation of Vegeta and Broly fighting in a tournament (I can't remember the name but I'm sure most here know what it is) and the other was some massive clickbait title like "GOKU CONFIRMED NEW SSJG3 DELUXE FORM? KILLS DEMON GOD TAO PAI PAI???" with a thumbnail of Vados in a bikini chilling on Gokus lap.

Really is just two extremes with DB fans

I understand this a lot, there are many more universes made by Dragon Ball fans than other franchises and niches, Dragon Ball Deliverance, Dragon Ball Absalon, Dragon Ball Tale, the animations from Etoilec1 animation and the old ones from MaStarmidia, not counting the mangas like Dragon Ball Multiverse or Dragon Ball New Hope. I can give several other examples such as Dragon Ball AF itself or Dragon Ball Kakumei, you don't find many things like that made by both DC and Marvel fans or even other anime and games, I think what comes closest are fans of Undertale

I really miss peak Dragon Ball. Adapting Super Hero to the manga just to inexplicably waste a year was the dumbest thing Toyotaro has ever done, and proof he's not worthy of being Akira Toriyama's successor... except he doesn't want to be, because he's been mostly on hiatus. Dragon Ball Daima managed to waste 2 years, since it was announced way too early, was advertised extremely poorly, doesn't match up with canon, and isn't even good. Sparking Zero practically died a month after launch and now only ever barely has a 4-digit number of players online at a time, even at peak hours, with no crossplay. 2024 was supposed to be the year of Dragon Ball man

DBSSH it's the worst movie in the entire franchise and i don't know how he had the courage to adapt such a horrible movie, he could very well adapt Broly's movie to the manga instead of this bad movie.

This reminded me of the creator of Hunter × Hunter with a passion for Dragon Quest and doesn't let his manga finish in peace (although always have an excuse of back pain)

Honestly the best part about Revival of F was Frieza himself, especially Chris Ayres' absolutely delightful dubbing of the emperor. I mean that movie has one of my favorite lines in the entire franchise:

"Haha! Your threats are as empty as your title! All hail Vegeta, prince of no one!"
And then Frieza looks like the health inspector from Spongebob moments later

Man those little moments were so good, Chris Ayres (May he rest in peace) and of course Ryūsei Nakao killed it as usual as Frieza. Just a shame it was attached to... the rest of the movie.

I remember a line that is still in my head today and i think it was in the Broly movie.

Goku said he would beat up Freeza even if he became immortal

DBSSH was a good movie for me, Especially animation and story.
But yeah 2024 has been worst year for dragonball fans, with the fact 2024 was the year of dragon
Shueisha and iyoku dissappointed us in this year
