Dragon Ball Z (Toei) Upgrade: The Meta Shifter
For as long as I can remember, mid-DBZ Toei scaling has felt gimped. The characters remain around the Low to High 4-C mark from the end of the Saiyan saga all the way to the end of the Cell saga; a shocking contrast to the typical power jumps you'd come to expect from the anime. This all stems...vsbattles.com
4-A Garlic Jr. saga is here
imo yesIs it better to use original renders from the manga for Dragon Ball manga profiles?
Turns out that no it isn't. The appearance and disappearance has a slight window.Yo, is I.T 0 time
In what instanceTurns out that no it isn't. The appearance and disappearance has a slight window.
During the cell fight during the it kamehameha there was a delay during goku disappearing and reappearing. In what instance
..you mean the scene being changed to show where he teleported from to where he appeared? is that seriously why you think that IT isn't instantaneous?During the cell fight during the it kamehameha there was a delay during goku disappearing and reappearing.
That's not accurate because we don't know if any time passed at all. Instead in this: we literally see a short window of time and in his fight against cell an even bigger one:where's the time frame here?

It's inaccurate because we have no measure of time which we had in the cases I brought up. The thing was done in a single place and was seen by people so we can see how long it takes. Anything else is up in the air if it's instant or not because we can't know if it was instant or if seconds passed. How is it not accurate, it shows us the true speed of it without an character reactions, especially in dramatic moments.
it's a teleport.is there anything stating that it takes 0 time in the first place?
If you're talking about Cell, we don't have a static camera shot of the teleportation. It couldn't even travel a dozen meters instantly though. And those are the only times where we see both the end and the beginning.
No but we do have the sound of it. We see Goku disappearing and the sound of him vanishing, then for a little bit cell still looks up and after he looks down as soon as we hear the sound of the reappearance and Goku drawn with speed lines to reference movement. If you're talking about Cell, we don't have a static camera shot of the teleportation.
So you think Cell kept looking at the empty sky like a dumbass after Goku dissappeared for X amount of time, looking down only once there was the 'sound of the reappearance'?No but we do have the sound of it. We see Goku disappearing and the sound of him vanishing, then for a little bit cell still looks up and after he looks down as soon as we hear the sound of the reappearance and Goku drawn with speed lines to reference movement.
..Do you think that an animation studio would animate teleporting as phasing out of existence in a singular frame like it's DBZA??the reappearance and Goku drawn with speed lines to reference movement.
which really doesn't matter much in this siteit's a teleport.
Instantit's literally called instantaneous movement.
out of all of what you said, this is the 1 thing that matters, could you give the feat?It has traveled across infinite distances instantly.
Yes or when he felt his ki again. So you think Cell kept looking at the empty sky like a dumbass after Goku dissappeared for X amount of time, looking down only once there was the 'sound of the reappearance'?
I have no idea about that. Can't possible know. Whether it's canon inverse doesn't matter because it gives us info...Do you think the IT sound effect is actually canon?
Had they wanted to do it instantly they would. They didn't so I can't support an instant transmission when nothing beyond the name does...Do you think that an animation studio would animate teleporting as phasing out of existence in a singular frame like it's DBZA??
There is precisely zero way to find out the time between the appearance and disappearance when the scene is not taking place at the same event where we can see both from the viewpoint of others.out of all of what you said, this is the 1 thing that matters, could you give the feat?
any time Goku uses IT to go to King Kai's, or the Kaioshin Realmout of all of what you said, this is the 1 thing that matters, could you give the feat?
Of course it matters if you're using it for scaling. The sound is there for the viewer. It makes no sense for a teleport to make sound, there has never been mention in the series of the sound's existence. This sound and speed lines being used for teleportation is the equivalent of invisible characters having outlines for the viewer to know where they are, if you think that using them to invalidate Instantaneous Movement being Instantaneous you're straight up being silly.Yes or when he felt his ki again.

you mean dimensional travel where no distance was even crossed in the first place? Crossing between dimensions means nothing to speed unless there is details to itany time Goku uses IT to go to King Kai's, or the Kaioshin Realm
Man I love Super's powerscaling
- Krillin scales to or above an exhausted SS1 Gohan and Android 18
- Android 18 also scales to around the level of an exhausted SS1 Gohan

This is a dream. Also it basically means any R>F means being beyond all dimensions and not just one.... How high will scp even reach....

Krillin's Destructo Disc slices through Cell Max's energy blast. Goku + Vegeta's Galick Kamehameha is torn through by SS1 Broly. Via basic scaling and argumentation SH Krillin's Destructo Disc would slice through SS1 Broly like a hot knife through butter. The fact that Krillin can basically bitchslap cell is kinda fun.
That makes zero sense trought, so you most likely wrong.Krillin's Destructo Disc slices through Cell Max's energy blast. Goku + Vegeta's Galick Kamehameha is torn through by SS1 Broly. In other words, SH Krillin probably one shots DBS:B SS1 Broly.
Last I recall Base Piccolo and Base Gohan were scaled to the level of SSB Goku/Vegeta (via Piccolo stating the Gammas are comparable to them and both Piccolo and Base Gohan holding up to them). Piccolo and Gohan are even scaled to 6 Universes in base form on their profiles. Which Goku only first reached in UIS.That makes zero sense trought, so you most likely wrong.
It is what it is.Logically speaking there is no logic to DB scaling.
Besides which it'll always be silly when we say these characters are "Universal+" or whatever because we are literally saying they're infinitely more powerful than the ones who are, such as saying Goku is infinitely stronger than Krillin. It gets even worse when we say something as ridiculous as Goku getting infinitely stronger when he transforms...
