I just got back fro IT chapter 2. And While Pennywise may be a powerful force to us mortals. I think I can confidently say that Alex would beat Pennywise with some ease.

Spoilers for IT chapter 2.


The losers club are able to beat pennywise simply by bulliying him into submission. Pennywise feeds on fear, fear is what Makes Pennywise stronger. Little to nothing makes Alex Mercer afraid, So really this would be no contest for Mercer.
