Ainz's Red Orb

After checking Ainz Ooal Gow's revision history, I noticed that Yobobojojo added Accelerated Development to Ainz's powers and abilities, citing Ainz's red orb in his chest as a world-class item with this power. The problem is, as far as I'm aware, that orb is never mentioned outside of the original web novel (which has questionable canonicity since the light novel takes precedence and has changed many things from the web novel). I've heard many theories as to what the orb does, but never that it increases Ainz's powers. Does anyone have proof one way or the other?

There is no proof of what the orb in the LN does, other than ainz mentioning it having an effect on dragons, thus should be removed until further feats are provided.

We follow the canon the profile is given feats from, unless various circumstances lead to it getting some more abilities for example: something unexplained in the LN but explained in the manga or anime, however this does not include WN because it is not considered canon.
