Agent Carolina vs Marauder (DOOM).

During the month in-between Seasons 12 and 13.

As Carolina and Washington were walking around the City of Armonia getting a more familiar layout of the city, Church suddenly appears saying "Uh, I'm detecting a massive energy surge appearing just around the corner and I don't know what's causing it." Now suitably alarmed, they cautiously peek around the corner to see a glowing reddish-orange portal just floating there. "Church, can you get any readouts on where this thing is coming from?" Carolina asked. Unfortunately before he could answer, a figure walked out of the portal that can only be described as an actual Demon, glowing red eyes, giant horns and all that. "OK, seriously? What the ****?" is all Washington has time to say before the Marauder notices them and starts summoning more Demons. "Wash, you handle the small fry. I've got the leader." Wash nods and lures them away while Carolina starts firing at the Marauder as it raises it's Shield to block before rushing towards her.

TL;DR Post-Chaurus Carolina is being used, the fight takes place in Armonia, Speed Equalized and Carolina knows that he can summon more Demons and has a Shield.

I kinda doubt it. The way they fight in the game is nothing special.

Marauders are fallen Night Sentinels, who should have comparable skill to the slayer himself. night sentinels could fight off hordes of demons and even go into hell and fight titans. not sure what his opponent is capable of, but that's the jist of his skill.

Marauders are fallen Night Sentinels, who should have comparable skill to the slayer himself. night sentinels could fight off hordes of demons and even go into hell and fight titans. not sure what his opponent is capable of, but that's the jist of his skill.

When the Marauders' Fight, they literally just move around the arena throwing energy slashes at you while sending their dog out too. If you get close they go for these big, super predictable wind up slashes and compliment it with a Shotgun. They're not that complicated of an opponent.

Neat, that's still his On-Screen Fighting Style. People use the same ******* argument for Monster Hunter, even the Staff, and it's just fine so why can't I do the same for DOOM?

to a degree yes. but him charging up a very obvious axe swing isn't the only way he's going to fight someone in QCQ

if he can fight on par with titans and armies of hell when he was alive, obviously that's not how he fights normally. its just for engaging encounters.

If he had the balls to fight like that against a Human Sized Opponent, the Doom Slayer of all people, then why wouldn't he do it against someone like Carolina who he knows nothing about and thinks is probably just a regular human?

Well it's how he fights now and you can't really argue otherwise because it's how they're shown fighting.

They have way more lore feats that the game isn’t really capable of showing.

Night sentinels are trained from birth in sword and ranged combat. The marauders are the elite (as Hugo admitted himself, the orange badge on their shoulder is indicative of high rank.) forces of this military.

Night sentinels on their own are pretty tough. If we look at the accounts, just on sentinel is enough to take on hordes of demons. They mostly die to exhaustion rather than the actual wounds inflicted.

The marauders also fought in the civil war against the wraiths and were known to kill their kind.

If we look at stats, he gets a higher AP advantage. He is much above the 0.9 ton feat shown in the calc.

Marauder also has his buffs. Quad damage, haste, etc. His shield will take all of the shots Carolina can dish out too. The marauders having chunks ripped out of him, so it’s much harder for her to kill him without turning him into pieces.

On top of all this, he has the summons. A baron of hell, his wolf, and other demons.

imo, Marauder takes this. He’s too strong and has backup.

How much of a Speed Buff is Haste because Carolina has her own Speed Boost, as well as a Healing Unit, a Bubble Shield, Adaptive Camouflage (not Invisibility), a Motion Tracker than will help her tell where everyone is and Epsilon who can think and react so fast that he views everything Carolina does in Slow Motion as if she wasn't even moving at all whenever he's setting up her most optimal path to Victory.
