The Urban Jungle, Match 7: Goro Majima vs Marauder

TOURNAMENT MATCH CONDITIONS:
  • The match takes place in a city specified by the organizer
  • Characters will start outside the city and are given two days to prepare with limited information on the other's capabilities (appearance, dangerous abilities, immortalities, etc.) They will also be given full access to information about anything they can use within the city. After 48 hours, they must enter the city and confront each other at a landmark of OP's choice.​
  • Characters will be given their optional equipment along with their preparation​
  • The characters have a week to achieve victory​
  • Victory is achieved under what is defined by SBA
    • Additionally, any characters outside the chosen city will be considered removed from the battlefield and will be given one week to return before they're declared the loser of the match.​
  • Any further accommodations for unique abilities will be decided as the tournament gathers more participants​
  • In tandem with the above, rules will be adjusted accordingly as well​
  • Last but most importantly, anything within the city can be used to the character's advantage (e.g. a character can run to a nearby zoo to use its animals, a character can run to the nearby power plant for energy, etc.), so research is highly encouraged if you want to know what's available to your submission!​

Goro Majima - 0.34 tons

So, how does Goro deal with Marauder's energy beams at a range and his nigh instant plasma shield at close range?
 
How big is Marauder's beams? Majima can run rings around folks and generally be a cracked rooster, plus can duplicate himself to make him a harder target to hit.
 
I see. The thing with Majima's duplications is its impossible to tell him from his clones, plus he has heat amps to try and close the gap and has wide asf sidesteps and dashes. The shield would be a pain to get past but Majima can paralyse his opponents with his dagger, if him or one of his clones get that chance they could wail on the Marauder afterwards.

I think Marauder's Hellhounds would be helpful in keeping him away. Also, on the note of Marauder's summons he can also bring in Barons of Hell which can also aid in keeping Goro distracted.
 
Ehhhh Majima is used to fighting more than one person anyway so I don't see that doing much, heck in 0 he like soloed an entire clan of thugs without any pause. Also again he can't be determined apart from his clones all of which can paralyse on hit.

Not just any clan, wasnt it the Dojima Family he went after?
 
Yeah iirc they were the top family in Japan at the time, plus he can hang with Kiryu who is also easily capable against hordes of foes so I don't see the numbers game doing much there

The Barons are still going to be a pain to deal with. they have a 2.9 AP advantage, Immortality (Types 2 and 7), Limitless stamina, and Large Size type 0. Also, if Majima can take it down the Marauder can just summon a new one 45 seconds later.
 
I'm leaning towards Marauder here because of his Summoning, Statistics Reduction (With Armored, he can reduce damage taken by 50% for 4 seconds.), superior healing, Statistics Amplification (can increase movement speed by 50% for 3 seconds on hit with a thrown axe, Can double speed for 10 seconds using Haste and multiply damage output by 4x using Demonic Onslaught), his Immortality's (Types 2 and 7), and because of his Limitless Stamina.
