This thread mainly aimed to give Soldier Boy a non-combat applicable version of Adaption, based on the fact that it was after months of exposure to lethal levels of radiation, that he developed new powers, and also adapted his body to withstand the built-up of his radioactive energy blasts without burning his own Compound V.

However, I also wanted to include Homelander into this discussion, and get him said ability:

This is because he was made from Soldier Boy's generic material with the purpose of being superior and replace him, Homelander should possess the same resistances and innate powers as his father (barring stuff like Longevity since that is something from the OG V formula, and not the one used now, since supes even from Payback aged, unlike SB and Stormfront).

As to why would then Homelander be afraid of SB's powers if he can adapt? Well, as I said, SB was exposed to that for months (had to use Google translate, but the footage of SB experiments says "June 8, 1986", while commenting that he was exposed to 20 sieverts back in January 24), whereas Homelander would get hit with pure radioactive energy and lose his powers.

And with that in mind, I wanted add that some supes should receive a (Limited?) Resistance to Radiation and a Resistance to High Temperatures. Based on Homelander's statement where he said: "the ones that survived are done, they're powerless", and also that we saw Kimiko (without too many injuries) and Maeve survive (all her injuries are from fighting HL) after getting blasted by pure radiation. Sure, they lost their powers, but they're alive, seemingly without the effects of radioactive energy, and for Maeve and Kimiko, we don't even see burns, despite the blasts being capable of vaporizing people.

TLDR:
  1. Soldier Boy should get "Adaption"
  2. So does Homelander (debatable, since he never showed it), plus a resistance to Radiation (I think this has support from SB's own resistance + HL upscaling from Maeve and Kimiko)
  3. Kimiko and Maeve (and maybe other supes, but with 100% certainty, we pick those two) should likely get a resistance to high temps and a (limited?) resistance to radiation

I agree, I guess it makes sense for him to have it too, maybe enhanced "adaption" for homelander; due to his purpose being a superior version of Soldier Boy., thus having enhanced adaption.

Hl should resists radiation imo, the show highly implies he would only lose his powers if hit

They should have a straight up resistance to temperature/radiation manipulation imo, not just likely/limited. I agree with the rest.
