Acnologia was more power (Escanor is 6-C and Acno is high 6-C), is faster (early Natsu is MHS+ and Acno is waaay faster) and was a lot more hax and expiriance. My vote goses to Acnologia.

Going on what's on their profiles, Acnologia has an advantage in just about every category except lifting strength I think. High 6C to 6C, he scaled to a Mach 4K feat (done by a character he is far superior to) while Escanor is scaled to a Mach 1Kish feat I think and Acnologia is resistant to magic... this really isn't a fair fight

Escanor scales to Meliodas who was calculated to 1921 but then again Anco is MUCH faster and stronger than Escanor at this point. Along with his ability to eat magic this seems like a stomp.

I want Escanor to win this. I really do. I want to argue on the fact that he still had more than an hour before he reaches his ultimate form and thus he has potential to be high level enough to compare or even beat Acnologia.

But in the end... Acno wins this through versatlity and stat advantage

I think the one escanor should take this- I don't think fairy tails power scaling is as high as seven deadly sins is. Escanor physical strength scales and is much higher than sealed weak meliodas who is casually capable of destroying mountains and large buildings while messing around.He only gets stronger as the fight goes on. So if he sees that using magic makes acnonogia stronger, he can just slice acnologia in half. and when it comes to speed he could keep up with unsealed meliodas, blitz galand who was able to keep up with merlin teleportation, and he bacially teleportated estarossa from the castle to the lake and he bacially jumped and flew in his base form after defeating crital over galand, and if that does not work then escanor will use the One Ultamate which boost his powers to the extreme but it would be a stale mate- he dies after using it.
