About immunity to soul manipulation....

So...people who lack souls have immunity to soul manipulation....but do they really?

What if a character can create a soul, then conceptually bound a soulless character to it?

Would the soul manipulation immune character tank soul erasure?

Why would that effect them? If they are completely capable of surviving normally with no soul then destroying one forced into them shouldn't have an effect.

That's... actually true.

Another example would be "If this being never had a heart in the first place, why would putting a heart in them and crushing it do anything?"

The example in the OP is more like some very specific conceptual manipulation meant to give a weakness to the opponent.

In that case, they'd probably be affected by soul hax afterwards. But simple soul manipulation wouldn't really affect a soulless character

Actually, the OP gave an example of someone conceptually binding someone a soul, not that "This being now requires a soul". Even if it's conceptual, this being never needed a soul in the first place so binding them one and killing it wouldn't do anything.

Id say unless the target has good enough resistance to their conceptual hax, then it should work on them. Even then itd probably still just be immunity negation.

Again, conceptually binding a naturally soulless being a soul and then killing it wouldn't do anything. It'd essentially be attaching a spare part to the being and then taking it away. You'd need to make it so the being REQUIRES a soul for killing their new soul to work.
