I really don't get why Hermit Purple is ranked at 10-C?

We've seen during Joseph and Avdol's fight with Mariah that it could hold back electrical wires from Sethan, we've seen it kill the Nena's stand, The Empress, and it can support Joseph's weight as he swings from building to building with it.

Yes, Hermit purple is probably among the weakest stands, but is that really enough to rank it at 10-C? Below Average Human level? Despite not snapping under Joseph's weight? Despite being able to pull him up great heights like a grappling hook? Not particularly impressive, yes, but that doesn't sound like 10-C to me.

This is probably the wrong board for this. I agree, though. It seems the only thing putting it at 10-C is DIO's statement that it is the weakest Stand and him breaking through it. But I'm not sure if that by itself is really enough to deserve putting it that low. Even if it is physically the weakest, it should certainly be stronger than normal, non-Stand or Ripple using humans at minimum.

I would believe that DIO say that is the weakest in terms of fighting (both strength and skill overall). However, holding someone weights isn't that impressive, a whip can do the same and doesn't stop it to be a dead body.

Yes, like I said, these feats aren't particularly impressive, but they most certainly aren't "Below Average Human level". Plus the stand does more than just support his weight; he uses it to pull him up to the top of large structures in short timeframes, so that could be used for KE.
