And I want to stay out of Digimon vs SMT, but people act like Digimon is only full of 2-A's nowadays which pisses me the **** off. Like there are lower tiered character in tiers 9, 8, 6, 5 , 4 and 3. Use them.

Same with SMT. SMT has more than just the top tier Demons. But people see one group of haxed 2-A's and boom, all you get is Digimon vs SMT. Something, I put off as being bored by, but to be blunt, I ******* HATE it.

-It's boring

-It not very creative

-We end up having the same AP and Hax discussions along with addressing confusing mechanics over and over. It never changes.

People only do these matches as well. It annoys me to no end. People can say "It's because Digimon has the native disadvantage, if roles were reversed he's like it", when the simple fact is that my opinions on this match-up is that they annoy me. Not that Digimon fights get any real traction unless it goes against a popular series or character. This is why I basically have been slowly losing interest for Digimon matches period. All it does is turn to memes, which is funny, but also ******* irritating. It never gets serious or anything. That Hadesmon vs Kratos was in truth the last real good Digimon vs thread I had. Not to mention the lack of people actually reading the blogs Ex spent so much time making also pisses me off to no end. Then they ask about mechanics and such, and yet don't bother to read. It's sad when Ex is actually SURPRISED to see that someone outside our Digi-circle has actually read even a small part the damn blog. I also hate how people assume "It's a Digimon, therefore it's broken". The majority of Digimon are not hax machines. Yeah, there are a good chunk who are, but there are plenty who are brute strength and nothing more. I hate this idea that if it's a Digimon, then it's overly haxed. When the likes of Natsu ******* Dragneel can beat a Digimon (with all the ******* unfair spite Natsu and FT get on this site) then so can other characters. I can't make a match without someone at least implying "Dragon made a Digimon match, that means the Digimon wins". Nor can I argue on my own threads without seeming "biased" anymore. Sometimes I've thought of leaving Digimon simply out of wondering "what do people actually think of me as a Digimon supporter?". Not to mention we have people who act like they like Digimon (Lucemon), but I bet more than half don't even know the smallest Lucemon's personality or character. Nor do they know jackshit about the series period. I don't usually say shit, and I usually just keep quiet in order to keep the Digimon fanbase of this site to continue to look as nice and fun loving as it is compared to other fanbases here.

Not to mention, there are mechanics and SMT I'm not to fond of (people can say the same to Digimon) and overall these fights bug me. If you make Digimon vs SMT, DO NOT message me about them.

Sorry for the rant. I've been keeping this in for like a year. I cut it short and only said the main points. Although this has been mainly me ranting about my Digimon situation hasn't it....oops...

You really just missed my point. I wasn't even talking about this thread in particular. Matter of fact, this fight is perfectly fine. I'm the one who gave you the idea of using Taiga to fight Abel in the first place.

I mean. If there were any actual points that could further the matchup being discussed from the point it already reached, I'm pretty sure people would be discussing them already. At this point this is just like any other SMT vs Digi high tier match where we're all seriously discussing the actual scale of both tier and hax for both combatants so the match itself doesn't seem to go any further than this for the timebeing.

To expand on what I said about memes, I don't mind joking around. I just at least want us to have a serious discussion while joking around. I don't want the entire thread to be memes. But I know when Digimon or SMT is involves, a few memes are....inevitable.
